UST Mamiya Recoil Shafts Review Thread

Got fit for new irons with the Recoil Prototype 110's. Love the shaft. Loved it when I tried it years ago. I'm thrilled that one they actually fit best for me and two I'll finally have them in my irons.

What golf stuff did you buy today?

Figured it was time for an iron fitting after having my current irons for years. I did a club champion fitting which is how I did my driver about a year ago. Surprisingly was fit to Srixon Z585 irons with ust recoil prototype 110's. Also got two cleveland wedges as I really need new wedges with...

Milk and Honey from the EMP Summer House, Eleven Madison Park's pop up restaurant while they are doing renovations. Its one of Chef Daniel Humm's signature dishes served at the NoMad. It was incredible. Bonus fried chicken from the EMP Summer House which was unbelievably good.

Course Review - Erin Hills, Erin Wisconsin

Erin Hills host of the 2011 US Amateur and 2017 US Open is located in Erin Wisconsin. Built on the land left by glaciers, very little land was moved to carve out the holes. The course is a links style course with rolling fairways and greens, tight lies and a whole lot of fescue. The fairways and...

Deacon's Lodge Course Review - Breezy Point MN

On Friday I headed up to Brainerd to play two course. Breezy Point Whitebirch and Deacon’s Lodge. Whitebirch was a nice course at a good rate. I would definitely play it again if I was in the area but I wouldn’t drive the 2.5 hours to go play it. Now onto the review of Deacon’s Lodge. Deacon’s...

I love monster rehab. I like regular monster too but I don't like to drink carbonated drinks on the course for the most part. Monster rehab and rockstar recovery lemonade are great.
