Don’t know what your point is, but to leave the same red banner with same number for days is disingenuous. You are arguing just for the sake of arguing. How often does your News Hour lead with "we start off with some breaking news"
uhhhhh unless you were handed a sheet of info 2 minutes before air, it's not breaking news
I wasn't arguing, I was making the same observation as you.Don’t know what your point is, but to leave the same red banner with same number for days is disingenuous. You are arguing just for the sake of arguing.
Maybe Costa Rica doesn't pay attention to American MSM. To their benefit.

“Used in the world for decades in the treatment of malaria, a month ago, the Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS) decided to apply hydroxychloroquine to patients infected with the new coronavirus until a vaccine is available.”
This from an article on 4/19, maybe that’s what they did that Panama didn’t?
I believe a famous French Doc uses Hydroxychloroquine .... and an antibiotic as preventative. Guess I would not down it carelessly
12.feeling that others are watching you or controlling your behavior
13.feeling that others can hear your thoughts
14.feeling, seeing, or hearing things that are not there
Hmmmmm...I have these symptoms all of the time.
My wife has taken Hydroxychloroquine for years and none of these things have happened ⬆. Of course, your mileage may vary.
There are over 5 million active prescriptions yearly for Hydroxychloroquine in the US, mostly to Lupus or other autoimmune disease patients.
The Prednisone she takes has way worse side effects.
I'm a little confused by this. The average of those that received it is 39 y/o and only 10% where over 60. So, mostly healthy people that had a high chance of recovering anyways? Also, only 37% of people who received treatment had confirmed cases of Covid19.
Also, from the same article
"“We still cannot be sure because there is no scientific evidence. However, in the very particular case of Costa Rica, this could be one of the elements that is influencing the good results of the country so far,” added Arguedas".
So, it could be, but they don't know?
"In this large multinational real-world analysis, we did not observe any benefit of hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine (when used alone or in combination with a macrolide) on in-hospital outcomes, when initiated early after diagnosis of COVID-19. Each of the drug regimens of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine alone or in combination with a macrolide was associated with an increased hazard for clinically significant occurrence of ventricular arrhythmias and increased risk of in-hospital death with COVID-19."
Understood, it's just that I had not looked at the potential side effects - they all talk about rapid heart rate, so I looked up the Mayo Clinic possibilities. Now I understand why you need a prescription. I know people who know people who know people who have hydroxy without a prescription who got it in April. There is a duo - this and some other medication is used as a preventative; to each his own.
I take something to keep the heart rate down, so I would avoid hydroxychloroquine.

Again when looking at this chart... What did Costa Rica do that the others didn’t?
I'm not sure, I'm not an expert. I mean, multiple news articles talk about their quick response to lockdown including closing their borders, but not sure that would fit the narrative. Even the article you posted stated that there was no medical evidence that HQC worked. So, I'd assume other factors came into play outside of HQC.
I mean a study in one of the most recognized medical journals, with over 95,000 patients in over 600 seperate hospitals found no conclusive evidence that HQC had any effect on Covid19 in patients.
It's one thing to ask questions and question medical and scientific research, it's another to continuously push an agenda.
