An Alfa Romeo 156 2.4 L JTD turbocharged in-line 5 pot diesel. They were slated as being very unreliable, had one for 3 years and not one problem. Economical and very quick. Had to sell it when we moved to the USA, sad to see it go.
Over here in the states it might just be our 2019 Mustang Ecoboost. A surprisingly good all round car.
My Ram 1500. This is a photo when I first got her, so doesn't show all the upgrades I've made. She's gotten me through some crazy weather and hauls whatever I ask.
Probably my 1990 Corvette convertible. It just made me feel good cruising around with the top off. Once my wife's business gets off the ground I'll be getting a C5 convertible.
Favorite was my 72 K/5 Blazer. Got it at the wrong time, though. Had visions of making it my daily driver, especially in the summer, but that was almost 20 years ago and gas immediately went up to $3.50+ a gallon. Not good when you get under 10 mpg lol
I'll never do it, but I'd love to Frankenstein one of those old bodies on a modern chassis
I have to say my 2015 Accord EX-L V6. All kinds of power and comfort, really quiet, 35 mpg at 75 mph, and if it didn't save my life, it certainly saved me from serious injury.
Honorable mention to my 1994 Accord LX 5 speed. 285,000 trouble-free, fun-to-drive, row-your-own miles, It rusted out before it wore out.
