    Reasonably priced golf polos

My wife and I just went to one for the first time in February. I bought 2 pairs of shorts, 2 Walter Hagen polos, and a Puma polo for $38 total.

When did The Masters become THE major?

It's Spring, many golfers are finally able to play themselves. Familiarity of the course. We all know about Amen Corner, the Sunday pin location on 16th. *The most peaceful minute of music playing* followed by "Hello friends" First major Augusta's exclusivity, green jacket, green everything...

    What did you shoot today?

Definitely was a great day to be had, even amongst the struggles of Tony and I. You guys were awesome to play with, and we will definitely have to play again, especially with faces to usernames now!

The flyer says "rounds" so that is upsetting haha. But again, still worth it.

My buddy and I will be playing in it as well. Also the County Am Stroke play is there this year as well. Can't beat $40 for practice rounds when Hidden Valley and Mountain Valley charge more for weekend rounds...

    The Wood Tee is Impractical

It's probably a mental block, but I just don't hit the ball well off plastic tees. It always seems like I get too much spin with them.

What would you change about your home course - if you could..?

*Cracks knuckles* Here we go! Mountain course in NEPA with a good design, but a few glaring issues. 1, It's TOO tight. There is only about 5 yards of rough on either side of the fairway on 25 of the 28 par 4s and 5s (36 hole facility). After the rough, it's right into the woods with a hard...

Apparently there was a large group (over 20) from out of state that was holding everyone up. When we got to the 13th tee, we were the third group to arrive there and be waiting. 3 groups on the tee is just absurd. Looking out, you could see guys walking around looking for balls all over. It's...

Played Royal Oaks for the first time this weekend. I liked it. Greens were well taken care of, and the course was in pretty decent shape. I like that they decided to get rid of bunkers and make them grass, but if you're going to do that, at least get the grass growing in there properly, and not...

    The Short Par 3

Anytime I have ever played it, there's enough of a breeze to make me think twice.

BRT could charge $20 more a round and it would be justified. It's a gorgeous course.

If the starter is admitting that, it's a major problem. That sounds like they are accepting it. Woof.

Spring Creek golf course in Hershey PA

Cleona is about 25 minutes from Hershey. You'll only be like less than 10 minutes from Royal Oaks and 20 or so from Iron Valley

You should check Hidden Valley out around now. Very green, and the greens are in good shape. Also, seems like a lot of the drainage projects they've been working on have been successful, though still a few bunkers get flooded. Pilgrim's Oak is one of my favorite courses. I haven't played it...

Only played there once in college, but absolutely loved it. Really nice elevation changes, ebbs and flows throughout the property well, and was well maintained. Want to get back there someday.

Anyone play Bucknell before? Played it on Saturday. Really enjoyed it. Older course, shorter, but very hard to overpower. Greens were lightning.
