Definitely was a great day to be had, even amongst the struggles of Tony and I. You guys were awesome to play with, and we will definitely have to play again, especially with faces to usernames now!

1, It's TOO tight. There is only about 5 yards of rough on either side of the fairway on 25 of the 28 par 4s and 5s (36 hole facility). After the rough, it's right into the woods with a hard...
Apparently there was a large group (over 20) from out of state that was holding everyone up. When we got to the 13th tee, we were the third group to arrive there and be waiting. 3 groups on the tee is just absurd. Looking out, you could see guys walking around looking for balls all over.

Played Royal Oaks for the first time this weekend. I liked it. Greens were well taken care of, and the course was in pretty decent shape. I like that they decided to get rid of bunkers and make them grass, but if you're going to do that, at least get the grass growing in there properly, and not...
You should check Hidden Valley out around now. Very green, and the greens are in good shape. Also, seems like a lot of the drainage projects they've been working on have been successful, though still a few bunkers get flooded.
Pilgrim's Oak is one of my favorite courses. I haven't played it...
Only played there once in college, but absolutely loved it. Really nice elevation changes, ebbs and flows throughout the property well, and was well maintained. Want to get back there someday.
