I’ve been taking my lessons with the G440 LST. Working on cleaning up my over the top swing. I’m hitting a draw a bit now which is nice. But I’m seeing some really good distance and spin numbers while I work through it. It’s a fun club.

Yes sir. I’ve found better distance control. I have the long design so it’s heavier in my hands which has helped with my bouts with the yips.

A Scotty squareback. It’s been one I can’t yank out of the bag. It’s been that good.

For me it’s anything Srixon. I don’t see them much out in the wild in my neck, even irons. while I’d love to say utility irons, most around here don’t play them. But the Srixon woods and hybrids are fantastic and don’t get the love they should. Mizunos putters are close by.

So I’ll put this here instead of anywhere else, but I’ve been down a mini driver experiment since last year. Last year I went and compared the Copper BRNR with the Callaway TI and the BRNR won out. I just felt more confidence with it as an off the turf option as I’ve worked on my swing a bit...

I will say the R7 is a big jump in improvement from what I saw from the Brnr. Titleist is a low spin monster man.

This one definitely topped the gt280 on it. Which I didn’t think was possible especially with it being spinnier

Fun test hitting with this. I could definitely see this in the bag. Overall averaged 265 with it.

I’m at the 9* with the standard weight. Playing the 45.25” as well with the 29g weight in neutral. Im contemplating just playing with the draw setting a bit though.

I’ve got the Project X Hzrdus black 5g in the 6X configuration In the Titleist. I’m using the Ping Tour 2.0 black 6X for the Ping. The stock shafts have been very good to me. How about you?

Did something similar to @DNice26 and was playing a bit of a GT3 and Ping G440 LST swap. Course wasn’t super busy so I was able to do a couple holes where I played both. Found on good hits the GT3 was longer, but just felt more consistent with the Ping. The forgiveness is something else...

I finally played 18 in decent weather here. Got a nice warmup in and was feeling ok. As I work through some swing changes it was a good test. I actually drove without slicing, which was solid. Lost 2 balls into water. One was me trying to watch a 7w off the tee, the other was forgetting...

Had my first full 18 in decent weather with the LD and I love it. Felt really good distance control, had one 3 putt but 3 1 putts. So overall a positive experience. Greens were tough, some fast some slow…so it was a good early season test.

Finally on Friday I get to play a round. Starting to take some lessons and redoing my swing a bit, so this should be interesting.
