Hey all,
Really enjoyed Vic National and the meeting everyone.
The golf course is great, and as always at Dormie locations stretches everyone and punishes average shots. The standard of golf was very good, there were a lot of great shots, especially from @MtlJeff in the singles. Some poor...
What in the consensus? Should I tee off on the odds or evens in alt shot?
If it is evens @Mmaynard11 hits a lot of approaches and we struggle on the two par 5s.
If it is odds i hit more tee shots but two are par 3s with tucked pins.
And all the others before that too.
Loving the write up, Jen and I are currently flying over, will be finding a range this week to get some practice in.
I am struggling to think Match 2 has pops in it, don't like getting shots.
Ok going to try and name them:
Wrag Barn Golf Club, Oxford, UK
Foxhills, London, UK
PGA National, West Palm Beach, Florida
Mission Resort, Orlando, Florida
Summit Rock, Austin, Texas
Horseshoe Bay, Austin, Texas
Wow catching up on all this.
@MtlJeff I presume since you have played mid-ams etc then we are playing off bare feet?
Are these matches Ups and Downs so all 18 holes are always played? Or matches to win 1 point?
We are all going to be in for a show on Day 1 as @jenisontheforum is going to be...
It depends who you are?
@Canadan do you want me to get some data and work it out? If we say hey want happens to your scores if your tee shots/approaches improve by 10% and short game/putting stays the same then do it in reverse. Can do for a variety of handicaps too.
