What's the least used club in your bag?

5 iron for me. It's the lowest loft iron in my bag. I have zero confidence I can hit it more than 150 yards. I have an old Nike vapor 5H that I can hit anywhere between 175 and 200 that takes the 5 irons place. My next set of irons will be 6-Gap when I do decide to go that route.

Why the hate on 14-way bags?

The way my bag is set up the four slots on the front of the bag (sticking out away from the cart) are where my putter and two wedges go. Those three clubs are the only clubs I would ever set down and potentially forget. I don't see me using my 6 iron and setting it down after an approach shot...

Why the hate on 14-way bags?

I really dont understend how people think getting a club out of a 14 way is harder. It has never hung up on mine EVER. It is 1000% percent easier to drop a club back in over a 5 way that you have to force the grips past each other.

    Does Your Handicap Travel

Mine does absolutely. My home course is a tough course where any shot off line is a lost ball stroke and distance type of penalty. Lots of huge basalt with canyons, slides and plenty of water. I was driving home from Yellowstone yesterday and saw a course off the side of the road that I thought...

    Favorite Sports you watch

College Football You Tube Golf Golf NFL Used to watch the NBA more than anything but Stern and Silver have ruined the sport with 2 different rule books (one for superstars and big market teams, one for regular players and small market teams).

Can I make a suggestion please. A white strip where a person's name could be written in permanent ink.

What is a truly terrible movie?

Breakfast of Champions Bruce Willis directed and starred in it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Most movies out of hollywood are terrible. They seem to think you should walk away from it with some lingering question or that a ending that pisses you off is a good ending. I go to the movies to be...

Customer service, why is it so terrible?

99% agree with your take. The 1% is that the employee should get paid well enough that a tip isn't required. But that is a whole different discussion.

    Vortex Anarch Rangefinder Review

Oh man that sucks. Keys to your vehicle or your wallet in the case is a great tip to not forgetting it. One of my favorite things about our private club is you get your stuff back 99% of the time. I hope it turns up for you.

    Vortex Anarch Rangefinder Review

I only get the haptic feedback on about 50% of the pins I shoot. My course has pins that have the prism on the top. If I aim at the top of the flag I never get a reading. If I aim at the middle of the pin I get a reading. I am wondering if the calibration is off on the actual aim point...

Is golf a “stress reliever” for you…?

Golf is my stress reliever on days that I cannot golf AKA work days. I am thinking of the weekend round. The days I actually golf its 50/50. If I golf well its great. If I choke or play poorly then it's not in any way.

Maxfli back in the PGA Tour Winner’s circle

Best bang for the buck in golf right now in my opinion. Best part is not having to Identify it amongst the 3 other ProV's in the group.

Rangefinders- built in battery vs. CR2

I already have to remember to charge my Bushnell wingman and I constantly forget to charge it or even worse is I forget to grab it from where I charge it. I can only imagine having the same issue with a rangefinder that requires charging.

    When your handicap shows up.

I am a 12 handicap. My weakness is my tee ball. I usually lose or put my tee shot into a unplayable location 2-3 three times a round resulting in 5-6 extra strokes. So I could potentially be a single digit handicap if I could keep tee shots in play. My usual miss is a slice. This weekend I am...

Rangefinders- built in battery vs. CR2

While I agree that the tech on rangefinders is getting better, the tech on the USB ports on golf carts is absolutely abysmal. I am guessing its maybe 50% of them actually work.

Rangefinders- built in battery vs. CR2

I have actually experienced the opposite. Of the five or so times a buddy has had a battery go dead, not a single golf course has had a battery for sale.

HOT TAKE Fireball whiskey isn't any good!

If you say so. I have a well stocked bar of quite expensive bourbons and whiskeys and I love a good fireball shot after a birdie or eagle.

Worst Car/Truck you have ever owned.

89 Toyota SR5 with the V6. Such a gutless truck that sucked fuel, leaked oil like crazy, had to replace the entire rear end in it, starter in it as well. My wife had a Camry that I was not a fan of either. Back in 1998 a alternator was $700 for just the part. Most expensive vehicles to work on...
