Definitely, 9 holes with a group up on us might be less worth it. But if I’m able to play a couple of balls during an empty twilight or drop an extra one in a bunker here and there I think I could get a lot out of it
Ah—I was excited for this as sometimes I feel like my game is sim friendly. 5 credits is definitely a bit excessive. I think the playing lesson could help me navigate some of the common bad situations I’ll find myself in though.
Lessons are really helping.
I haven't put up a score yet that shows me putting it all together, but I feel like the individual parts I have worked on at Golftec have improved a lot.
Iron contact is so much better and so much more consistent when I'm using the feels I learned in my lessons. I...
I think I was just overcompensating speed wise, expecting the added weight to hit putts firmer. Going to try them again when NJ finally dries up, rain all week.
I was using a CB mallet pre-MC bag
I liked the feel of it for short putts, but wasn't comfortable lag putting with it at all. Speed was all wrong.
The lighter weights in the Agera RS didn't feel way too light to me, but wanted to play around with it a bit. I'll prob end up putting the 15s...
agreed, absolutely can't suspend him without bringing down the hammer on everyone else who has a temper tantrum
I'd think it would be fair of Oakmont to ban him from the club, just like any other guest who kicked in some lockers would be. But i dont think the USGA can do a ton without opening...
yeah, had a bad day of putting practice after a range session, and felt the heavier weights might help a bit with keeping my straight back - straight through putting stroke on line. Short putts were not a problem previously though.
the 60deg King v got a nice bunker workout this weekend. Bunkers ranged from sand, to wet sand, to downright mud throughout the day. One absolutely buried lie on 1 to start the day was out and on pretty easily. Closed the day with a greenside bunker shot over a large lip that had to get up fast...
Put some heavier weights in the Agera RS before my round this weekend and i think it messed with my head a bit.
I left everything outside of 15 feet way short. I think knowing I replaced the 15g weights with 25g weights caused me to hold back a little. Puts were still rolling off the face...
Sound and feel feedback was great again in this weekend's round. Flushed shots feel effortless and sound very obviously compressed. Highlights of the round were a high 6iron into a par 5 that left me about 30 feet for eagle. Yes, I 3 putted again. A few holes later I bounced a 9 iron from 145...
Still have the Max K in the G4 setting and not messing with it any time soon.
Hit 6/7 fairways on the front on Saturday. The one i missed was just left. Distance was there as well, leaving short irons or wedges into most par 4s, and a 6i into a par 5.
The Max K theme continues, serious...
