I don’t compete, but do have to ask. Wouldn’t it be best to compete with the set up you play and practice with? I can’t imagine a last minute change to an unfamiliar club could be a benefit.
My “feelings” about a product or brand have more to do with the actual feel of the product. PXG for example could not produce a club that would feel good for me. They don’t tell me the right story….
Anyone that has a realistic chance at more. There’s no bigger waste in my mind that a one time major winner. I want the dynasties.
Viktor or Max would be fine. Just someone the tour is not already propping up with sponsors exemptions in a desperate attempt to keep them relevant.
I know, but it’s a start. Golf is like the Premier League to me. I just want it to end with the last event of the year (ideally The Open) and crown its champion. Sometimes that will be a forgone conclusion, but that also means we got to watch a dominant season.
Dustin Johnson was the last (and maybe only) time I’ve every realty flipped my position on a player. As he came back from his dope vacation, he physically changed my mood in a bad way whenever I saw him. Somewhere along the way, I started to follow him with interest, and was actually happy...
So I’ve shot 79 at my easy home course from the regular tees, and 72 in an “iron man” event from the fronts. My 81 today was at a much harder course hence the thread. I’m still conflicted….
