Dan Grieve was also promoting last week as well - tipped me over the edge. If I can use it top to bottom of the bag and get results then it will have been worth the $95 I paid for it.
If you mean the TRS Slider I just gave in and ordered it earlier this week.
Tried the Hackmotion (Black Friday sale) and struggled with initial setup and then never really felt I was getting consistent feedback/advice - so I sold it on at about the same price I paid, or maybe a small profit to...
Absolutely.
When I look at the equipment, the knowledge and the conversation in the people I encounter on courses, and particularly at my home club the world we all live in is very much a bubble.
It has to be whatever the lead tech story is from the manufacturer. Thats their lead it has to be my first priority - we are talking small margins here (unless there is a Quantum leap of course) and so tech story, materials, model ranges, looks, price, shafts.
This is genuinely going to be amazing - the before and after analysis is a major step up in the value and desirability of this experience - despite it already being a must-do.
I had an 18 and a 20 last season. When I made the switch to the newer model I tried both in my fitting and only wanted to have one club. That ended up being the 18.
My criteria was 95%+ off the tee usage, looking for maximum distance fairway finder, and an ability to flight one down under the...
You have to accept that it isn't a traditional 2-iron. After that just go hit one - you'll be surprised and I would like to think ordering one shortly afterwards.
I'm not to worried about a 3-4 week wait especially November - January as my volume of on course golf is low. I would love to get anything new in the bag, and understood before March when I'm likely to get back out on the course.
During the summer months I'd probably be a little more impatient...
On my own I putt everything out
On a general play round I'm putting in to England Gold for my (WHS) handicap I putt everything out
In stroke play or stable ford competitions I putt everything out
In match-play I'll take gimmes.
In casual rounds with friends I'll take a gimme if it is knocked...
That would be very cool. Just let me know....
I'm really tempted to join the trip you are organizing - but just not sure what I'm going to be doing over that period at the moment. Looks like an amazing itinerary.
The new glove is an added bonus. Love the TA - have a couple of new ones sitting here waiting to go into the bag - so I'll have some time before I need to buy another glove but I'll probably pick one of these up at launch just to make sure I have it ready - if I don't jump it up the list...
...to know what distance you get from your 4i - especially if you plan to hit the UT off the deck as an approach into a green. Whether that is the 18* (2i-ish) or 20* (3i-ish). I was getting 220ish from my 20* 2024 UT, and I am getting 235-250 from my 18* 2025 UT (off the tee) so maybe take...
I'd like to think that I could get to single digits.
A lot of fitness, strength and conditioning work, and a lot of short game practice and improvement.
No hallucinations about making it to scratch, and I wouldn't see me in any professional capacity. Would be nice to be able to play, and...
...for a practice session before her lesson tomorrow and managed to hit some balls in-between her sets while she warmed back up.
Took the Apex UT 18* and managed to find a rubber tee that sat just proud of the mat and so for the first time since my fitting on the 9th November I got to hit it as...
