From my experience, a stronger grip makes me push/slice more.The cupped left wrist is retained due to tension resulting in an open club face. So I use a more neutral grip and this allows me to get a flat left wrist easier without conscious manipulation and less right side misses.

The Pinnacle Exception was a great ball.

I loved the Pinnacle Exception and used Gold Distance when I started playing as I too didn’t know any better. I don’t like the feel of their Rush and Soft balls now. The Nitro is the worst all I have ever hit.
