This is a great question. I got to a point in my lessons where my coach noticed that the changes we were working on was sticking with wedges and shorter irons but not mid/long irons. We realized that I was trying to use my swing to hit the ball and make it do certain things rather than just...
Step 1 – Tell us what wedges you currently use. I bounce between my Cobra Snakebite and Callaway Jaws Raw. Both are 54 & 58°
Step 2 – Tell us what lofts you would like to review. I would do a 54 & 58°
Step 3 – What feature of CBZ draws you in the most, that you want to test out?
I’m really...
Marshalls out there actually enforcing pace is the way to go. People don’t look at the screen or cards with any real care. If there’s no Marshall out there, they’re doing exactly what @Nashtyone described. It’s so infuriating to be behind people like that.
One of my old roller hockey teammates was really close with Luc Robitaille. He came and played a few times with us. He was a teammate of Gretzky so basically I’m a teammate of Gretzky 😂
I haven’t yet because it’s only been two rounds. I’ll probably play around with it a little bit, but I’m hesitant to change the loft and change the flight I’m getting. It’s hitting a real nice window right now.
It’s going to replace it completely. The flight that I get is not as high as my 7w Elyte X. This will be more manageable, even in windy days. And frankly, it’s just a lot easier to hit than the 5i. I’m all for making golf easier.
So good! It’s super easy to hit and it’s been very consistent on distance for me. I don’t think I’ve hit it outside of a 4 yard range yet. I’m blown away by the consistency.
For sure. i absolutely love the flight this gives me right now though. Yesterday on this par 3 at my course the flag was tucked left behind the bunker at 208. Took dead aim with confidence.
On the wet greens it stopped perfectly for me. 9 woods are fun!
I’m going to be following these adjustments closely. I got out for my second round with the 9w yesterday and while it’s a blast, it’s just a little too long for where I need it to be.
I love the pool noodle! It’s so helpful for me being a very visual learner. Having that physical reference point to see and help dial in the feel for OptiMotion to confirm is a match made in heaven
I really wish the dates worked for me but I have to hold off on entering this one. Can’t wait to follow the equipment threads and event though as I’m really excited for this Cobra release
If you’ve been following my journey, you know that my last couple lessons and practice sessions have been tough. I’ve really been working on trying to get more tilt to the right an eliminating that over the top move that causes inconsistency for me on my contact with irons. Last night‘s lesson...
This was something that bothered me at the beginning. Something that’s helped me now as I’ve gone through the journey is to not pay attention to distance or results at all when I’m working on drills in the studio. My sole focus is on the numbers that I’m trying to hit for my angles I’m working...
Just catching up on this thread after a crazy day but what an awesome trip out here for you. That Roger Dunn is what every golf store should be! And to follow that up with a round at Black Gold is perfect. Fun but tough course for sure.
