Ok I'm stuck, I'm not quite liking my original idea of just doing a wider trim piece on the right to cover the gap
Should I work in a 1*4.5 to fill the space but it's even with the front of the cabinet, and then do a 1x2 trim piece? Or will it basically look the same?
Thanks for the tip. It's a 1x6 (or 5, can't remember) that will run all the way across, but yeah my ceiling is to uneven its be really tricky to get it right. I may try it though, worst case I still use crown.
Some good progress made tonight, got them middle section fitted and mounted and the bookcases themselves secured to the top beams once I did a dry fit
Not sure if I want to scribe the horizontal trim that will go across the top, or just put it on and do a crown molding to cover the gaps
Making progress ... Man I can't use a jigsaw for shyt lol I messed up the arches royally, ended up taking the belt sander to smooth out some major bumps, then just got it as good as I can
