The Frost Silver is just the stock shaft. I hit it for a minute at one of those bar/sim combinations but don't put a ton of stock into the results there and I was completely gassed from my actual fitting that day. Not sure how it'll be different as I can't find any real specs on the Frost...
My first dozen of the 2026 balls are the CT but I'll be grabbing a dozen of the CS to try as well. Golf Galaxy around here definitely has more options in the CS vs. the CT, but I'm going to try and go with whichever one works best overall.
Still waiting on my Aretera. While I wait I'm gonna give the stock Denali Frost a little more outdoor time this weekend. I'll plug it in at the range and if that goes well we'll see how it plays on the course.
Those look amazing. I have the copper Ai200s that get a bunch of comments but I'm guessing these are next level finish wise. Also love the black shaft pairing. I wanted to go with darker shafts when I ordered mine but they didn't have what I wanted in stock.
Great video @Hawk!
I really like the looks of this one. Always a sucker for the long single line alignment aid and I like the overall shape. Need a new putter like a hole in the head but this one is definitely tempting! I’m sure I could move some of my current inventory to make space. 🤔
I'll play in the wind but I'm not a fan once it gets down into the lower 40s with a ton of wind. I used to think I could control trajectory but was largely kidding myself. If I'm playing into the wind I'll try to hit knock downs, but my success rate is somewhere short of middling. If a couple...
Hamilton makes great watches. I have a day date field watch that I really like. My only drawback to them is they run the 20mm lug width even on some of their larger watches, which just looks funky on my wrist. I was sure I wanted one of their chronos (the one from the Jack Ryan show) until I...
I feel like I would launch these so so high. I'm sure they'll perform for those that need/game them, but not winning any looks contests. It is cool that they put the hydropearl finish on these.
OG Woode for sure.
Pretty happy with the Vessel Player V Pro 7-way. I've been able to fit plenty of extra clubs for testing, etc. I will say it would probably get a little crowded with any larger grips.
If I ever went back to a 14/15 way I'd probably have to say the C-130. Beast of a bag...
Glad to hear that I'm not the only one. I had a few of those this past weekend, which definitely caught my attention.
Hi toe is where I was living most of the round, so that makes sense. The forgiveness on those was pretty good though. If I can get my end of the bargain sorted out I feel like...
I'm going to have to do something worth getting a Denzel here soon. I'll make sure my GPS is charged up so I'm ready to provide proof when I do. Feel like this is the Quantum merit badge in this thread.
The "normal" swing thought is something I need to keep in mind next time out with this one (and with all my clubs honestly). Longest shots I saw on the monitor were ones where I wasn't trying to kill it or do anything special trying to steer the ball. Should be common sense but I can be dense...
Only got to hit the 4H a few times in my round yesterday. Lost the first one to the right a bit but I was blocked out trying to hit a hero shot. Good news is it did get me around the corner, I just over-exaggerated the fade swing into a slice. Otherwise it seemed pretty point and shoot. New...
Got to play 18 yesterday and thankfully whatever I was struggling with on the sim didn't translate to the course. FIR% wasn't great, but it was a new to me course and I definitely made a few poor directional choices off the tee. Still working on my swing (which I feel like is a forever thing...
