The original woode will never be surpassed! Not a fan of the modern plastic topped woode though. My ideal post woode is 5 way including a putter well but they are as rare as rocking horse 💩
Alright MLS USMNT fans, tell me about Sebastian Lletget, as we’ve just signed him. Not familiar with him, but has a great pedigree but from a few years back. Wondering if I can get genuinely excited or whether we’ve signed a has been. Also, who’s bloody Becky G who whoever I google him, she...
I go with what the fitter says. My angle of attack with the driver is pretty much around zero, so I often need a more lofted driver. My current driver I think is 12.5 degrees.
Not playing this year as work is getting in the way. But it was fun playing, maybe I was just lucky, but my course had a chilled group where it wasn’t overly competitive, it was more about meeting new folk to play golf with. If you’re thinking about it, I’d recommend signing up.
If we’re all being honest, no one is a fan of hybrids, and we’d all love to go back to screaming V10’s. So would the FIA. If they could just find the manufacturers to invest the millions in engines that no one uses in road cars anymore. With F1 being a technology based sport, its adapt or die.
The FIA tweak the regs all the time, I don’t think this is a big issue. The stuff on social media is absolutely ridiculous. I enjoyed the race. The cars look lively, are able to follow each other and there was plenty of action. All i keep reading is this is formula E. It’s not. And I don’t want...
I know a caddy would lower my score because he did. 10 shot difference between the first and second time I played Pebble, first without caddy, second time with.
Okehampton in Devon. It’s on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon. It can best be described as Fawlty Towers with 6 golf courses attached. You park up, then play golf during the day, and get wandered at night. Used to go every year in a group of about 20 and was always the highlight of my year.
I play red Star Grip Sidewinders, regular size. Why? Because they are similar to the GP Tour Velvets I’ve payed for 30 odd years, but are slightly more tacky which is good for me. I also wanted to introduce a bit of colour to my clubs. Even without the colours available though, these would now...
I don’t know about most players, but definitely for me as I’m crap hitting a fairway wood off the deck. I’ll take a hybrid over a fairway wood any day of the week.
Yeah, these are definitely cars that require the best drivers to get the best out of them. For that alone, I think the new regs are a step in the right direction.
A few of the drivers said Melbourne would probably be the worst track for harvesting.
I’m going to wait until after the race later to see how it all plays out, but it’s already looking like the regs around super clipping probably need to be changed. Cars running out of revs on the straights...
Pebble was my bucket list course. First time I played it, it was 2 other THPers. We played it in the rain and none of us stopped smiling the whole way round. I’ve since played it a further 3 times, and beamed the whole way round on each occasion. I’ve played a couple of courses that didn’t live...
