I’ll preface this by saying a) I don’t have super in depth knowledge of modern golf tech and b) I’m a bit of a tinfoil hat guy. So please feel free to call me an idiot.
In general, I’m not sure more forgiving really means better scores.
I’ve always been anti super-GI irons. My buddy I play...
Admittedly a long shot here…
I’m restoring an old set of Titleist 690.mb’s and the PW has a deep gash right at the bottom of the face/into the sole that may affect play. So I’m in need of a pitching wedge for this set.
If you have a 690MB, 690.mb, or old 200 series chrome Vokey in 48 loft...
Went on a little side quest today… drove an hour to pick up these rusted beauties for $50. Took some barkeeper’s friend to em, got all the rust off, and just sent em for a regrip:

First time seeing a mini driver in person (I’ve been out of action a while) and my god is the R7 Quad gorgeous. I expected the head to be slightly bigger than a 3W but it really looked to be the perfect size.
I don’t even feel like I need the thing but I can’t stop thinking about it
So I’ve been playing for 20 years off and on. I’ve never even been remotely comfortable putting. No matter what I do, my alignment is a total crapshoot.
I just recently put two and two together and realized your front side eye being dominant isn’t all that common. I’m a lefty by nature and am...
when COVID hit I started collecting baseball cards out of boredom.
One of those was an Ohtani rookie card I bought for $5.99. It’s now worth about $400 ungraded and up to as much as $1300 if it grades as a 10.
Safe to say I’m enjoying the Ohtani ride
got this midlock beauty in today. immediately took it to the putting green near me and definitely sunk more putts than usual but it feels extremely foreign to me. all of my misses were the same direction rather than being all over the map too, so i’m excited to see if I can get used to it
thing with limited Scotty prices is there’s so many fanboys that if you get one and take great care of it, you can probably sell it for more than you bought it for.
was largely in the same boat as you. took 5 years entirely off and most of the last 8-10 years. came back and my ball striking is alright but my putting is offensive to anyone watching.
bought a mid lock Evnroll on a whim yesterday, can’t wait for it to come in. hopefully it helps my godawful...
if I want to donate, I will do so directly. I don’t like getting badgered to donate at every store I go to. I also don’t trust it’s going where they say it’s going, and I also don’t have time to look up the foundation at the register to see if it’s one of the good ones.
So never.
