In my opinion, ChatGPT shouldn’t be used to guide you on new gear unless you’re feeding it your own TrackMan data and actually doing some proper A/B testing between setups. What you’ve described and the advice you’ve been given sounds way too random and could easily backfire.
I spent the winter using ChatGPT and TrackMan to dial in my iron lies and figure out the right shafts and flex. The results have been surprisingly good. I’m really happy with the setup I have now.
Just pulled the stock shaft ... way too light (40g) and too soft. Gonna install a GD Tour AD iZ 60S shaft. I’m expecting the 9 wood to be just what I need (same setup as my 7 wood, which I love).
Just switched from Iomic 4.4 Midsize Platinum Grey to 2.3 Sticky Standard Black. Went with the 2.3 because they feel tackier than the 4.4. Iomic grips are hands down the best I’ve used. Highly recommend.
