And driver speed from 2 years ago I gained as well. It’s really cool it keeps all this data. I need to lock this thread up and stop complaining. I’m really floored that I improved that much
Agree. For many of us that don’t head south it is the only option.I have one by my house that is $150 a month for unlimited use in the mornings.I might do it and go back and only click on path, angle of attack, and club face angle.Kinda think those 3 are more important than worrying about carry...
Wouldn’t you like a set of irons custom fit off of real turf hitting to an actual target? Or is hitting into a screen 15 feet away in a building ok ?
I’m just curious. As I was looking for a good club fitting. And one guy does it inside for $200. The other competitor is outside for $450. Both...
Don’t you think an indoor trackman would be the worst place to do a club fitting ? I do .. personally grass would be the most accurate. Or am I wrong ?
I used the trackman all last fall and winter indoors. But my instructor only had path and clubface up and angle of attack. He was more focused on a swing change. Versus what I did today. Interesting anyways
Cool stuff. If I had one at my own where I didn’t feel rushed it might be viable with all this data. But as of now I’m just happy to enjoy the game when I can.
Your right. I had very little down with the driver. But one thing I notice is my face is more closed to the path all day. And smash factor was like 1.46 which is not great I guess
@That post . You’re a heck of a golfer. And I concur with you. I’m not into indoors either. And how the radar was setup.. I would have to hit in the right side of the screen for a straight one.Kinda has one setup to hook the living crap out of it.Was also worried I would hit the wall. And the mat...
I hit it nice. So for that I’m happy. And I’m breathing :) and above ground
I wonder if having it setup just for a 5 iron made a difference? And not resetting for last 7 swings using a driver
Been a member of trackman for a year.Used it just for path with my instructor and face angle. So today I did clubhead speed and carry. This was a new facility that I tried in Iowa.We are here golfing (I know ..Iowa).Can’t wait to leave
Anyways, I did the app I got my numbers.Really...
A real old school 9 hole course in north west Iowa.A little pricey for $37 with a cart.Greens were in some bad shape..:(. But they had a cool little rule that if you clean your cart out after the round. They will than refund you $10.Hit some good, some not so good. But one area I need to work on...
Going back thru our finances for 2024.We We spent $13,853.47 on golf this year.Includes plane flights, home rentals, greens fees, range balls, equipment..
That is a little extreme for a husband wife combo imho. It’s almost impossible to find a course under $50 with senior discount. Found one...
That is a great round
For me golf just feels weird. The ball just sits there. We hit it at a side versus facing the target like basketball. You can drive away for a while.Come back later and your ball is still sitting there.Never feels like a true sport to me.Feels more like something to do to...
Don’t worry about the look of the swing. Research videos on YouTube for better face control drills.Season will be over soon.Enjoy what nice days you have left
