You mentioned this before. I haven't really noticed much change from normal with divots, but divots aren't really a thing here. We play on durable bermuda blends and zoysia. And I don't throw pelts. I have a strong AoA, but I'm out of it pretty quickly.
Okay. I mean probably better than most, but uphill long stuff can be tough for me. I don't live up in the stratosphere. And uphill turning right. Hard pass on that.
Yeah I didn't even realize it until after. I technically missed one approach shot but it was my second on a par 5 and it was frigging impossible. Fairway tree in the way and I put it in the left bunker and got up and down for birdie. They've been good. Better than me, probably.
Like I said I mostly liked how Nick responded to it in the moment and how he talked about trying to achieve optimal results. I don't defend bad fittings, I just don't judge them on what we don't know. People here have complained about their fittings at some amazing experiences, and their club...
The fact that you said he is "in excellent shape and can pound balls for hours without getting fatigued" says more to me that the rest, but I'll go with things not being how they sound if you want. I'm open to that. I'm sorry your guy had a bad fitting. That sucks for everyone.
I am going to be sore and have to play again tomorrow, so I'm going to get some swings.
I would call these pretty decent. There we plenty that weren't though. Those were probably the best. If feels like good swings go left. I look up and expect it to be a bomb and it's slinging left...
I talk a lot about how my iron game isn't what it used to be since switching to graphite. Well, not true today.
All GIRs this morning. Every one. P7CB were sticking it like they were getting paid to.
I don't think so. It was in rapid succession that you guys talked about there being a finite number of productive swings in a fitting, Nick intimated that's part of the need for their new Co-Pilot and an ever increasing number of products creates a challenge there, that more definitely isn't...
Pretty conflicting story lines there. Nick is talking about how more isn't better and the best fits don't require a lot of swings... and then @Canadan bashes his buddy's driver fitting because he only tried 4 heads. That it was somehow incomplete. And Nick says if you're not trying everything...
D40 to me feels .. soft but pretty even. Active, but not segmented. It feels like a 'Stiff', but a more powerful one. It's flexible but recovers quicker than most imo. Snaps back, as it were. The handle feels pretty solid but sometimes that can be masked a bit by how much the rest is moving...
I feel like they're usually there, we just can't tell ourselves they're not in those moments. True confidence in something is revealed the moment the right decision is to reach for it, and you even remotely hesitate or seek a different decision. You just can't fool yourself when it counts.
1. That's black on black which is 🔥
2. If the background is black and you can't see sh*t assume it's black.
3. It's two different blacks though so glasses.
😆
