Arnold Palmer "The Original" Putter - information?

Ya, for $2.99 there was no way I was going to leave it there. Even if there is not much value in it, it's got a nice classic look.

Arnold Palmer "The Original" Putter - information?

Ya, I did some googling and eBay searching and you can definitely find them. Some go for $30-50 and some have gone for $400...hard to make sense of it. Not a lot of intel on release history and variations etc. Nothing about a duck on the face from what I can find. No original box, paperwork or...

Arnold Palmer "The Original" Putter - information?

I scored this minty condition Arnold Palmer "The Original" Putter at a thrift store the other day. It's in incredible shape w/ chrome still pretty perfect and grip is as well. Had me wondering if it was refinished as a project or a later production/remake of the original that wasn't hardly used...

    Cleveland Wedge set help

Yes, i was noticing that. Not really a full open flop club at all, but square or just slightly open really helps my stroke catch the ball clean and can consistently control height and roll out.

    Cleveland Wedge set help

Spent some time on the course w/ all these wedges in hand today; 50 cbx zipcore, 54 in cbx zipcore, rtx zipcore, and rtx zipcore full face, and a 58 rtx zipcore full face. Loved the cbx 50 for full swing 125yd shots. Loved the 58 ff out if sand and flops and even hitting 95-100yd shots full...

Best way to clean this rust off irons

Verdict is in. Vinegar soak for a couple hours worked great and didn’t seem to damage paint fill at all. They still look bad, but at least the rust is gone. If I buffed and repolished these, could I get them back to a somewhat even chrome look? Might be worth it…theres so little bag chatter.

Best way to clean this rust off irons

I honestly don't know why companies aren't doing this more. Perfect balance of all worlds for me. Easy hit. Awesome feel. Good feedback. Consisten distance. I was playing Titleist DCI Oversize + since I was like 10 years old and in the last few years decided to try "new tech" stuff. I tried a...

Best way to clean this rust off irons

That's a good idea. I have steel ones, but seems too aggressive. I'll give that a try. Thanks!

Best way to clean this rust off irons

I didn't even think of a coke bath. Would the coke or CLR bath damage the black paint at all or is it safe to just drop the head in?

Best way to clean this rust off irons

I bought these Mizuno mx20’s off ebay a few years back and i love playing them. Description said something about professionally refinishing them (can’t recall the exact phrase). They looked super clean in pics so for $100 I figured why not. I’m no expert, but it seems like maybe they took a very...

Thanks for the reply. You mind me asking what your yardage gaps are w/ those wedges?

    Cleveland Wedge set help

I’m really intrigued by the full face! Do you think it’s gimmicky or do you really feel like it benefits you? Would you get it again or pay up for it? Also, do u ever experience the occaisional flyer that goes way farther than upu wxpect w/ the CBX wedges? I’m always leary of that with GI clubs.

    Cleveland Wedge set help

That definitely makes me lean toward CBX 54! Another question, have you noticed any flyers that take off beyond the yardage you expect? Or has it been as consistent w/ distances as a blade wedge?

    Cleveland Wedge set help

I should have specified… One of my biggest issues is I’ll hit a nice drive middle of Fairway and I’m sitting 120 out which is my bread and butter 52° wedge. Three out of 10 times I’ll chunk it fat. I’m wondering if the 54° CBX really resists digging, and would help with this specific situation...

Transitioning from a 1 wedge do it all approach (52 deg top flite stainless tour milled face…cheap, but not a bad club has been a consistent 120 club and I love hitting open face and floos w/ it) to a multi wedge setup (50, 54, 58). Looking at Cleveland CBX Zipcore and RTX Zipcore. Couple...

WTB - Bridgestone J38 or J40 irons cb or dpc

Interested in picking up a set of Bridgestone J38 or J40 irons (dpc or cb) w/ steel shafts. Preferably stiff, but could play down to regular. Ideally 4-Gw but would be interested in 5-pw.

WTB - older Mizuno MX or Adams Cb2, CB3 irons

I'm wanting to try some cheaper/older, but quality irons that are forgiving, have good feel/feedback, and have good distance consistency. From my research the irons at the top of my list are Mizuno MX 23, MX 25, MX 300, and Adams CB 3, CB 2, A4, A12 pro. I'm open to other iron brands/models...

Forgiving irons with good distance consistency

I think my RSi 1's are starting to cave in and I'm considering new irons (thankfully still under warranty). They were my first new irons in 15 years and I'm still learning about what I need/want and what club manufacturers are doing to make forgiving GI clubs. I think I've learned that while I...

Help me figure out what irons I should play (I'm so lost)

Hello, I've been reading for years, but this is my first post. I'm just at a loss as to where I should even look for irons and I'm hoping to find some insight tailored to my needs and my swing. Some quick info about me: I've played golf since I was 10 (I'm 29 now), but only started taking it...
