Hey @rally-cap . I’m in Aledo too. Split Rail is my favorite. Squaw Creek is close and good too. Whitestone is troublesome. 8 min intervals and constantly backed up. Decent track, but always slow. Pecan Valley in Benbrook has 36, and is really a hidden gem.
Funny, I’m kinda a nerd here on this. I keep a note in my phone called Golf Temperatures. I have written down what worked well for me in the past at various temps. I’ve got a Wind and a No Wind category.
Interestingly, I DONT have any records of 40 (or below) with wind!
We’re in Edinburg. Possibly stuck. Is anyone else here and how are you getting out to the course?

Flamingo drill. I even teach some to start with the trail toe pointed down and resting on the ground, 99% of weight on the lead leg. Hit a bunch at the range like this.
Yeah, that’s scary. Good job helping him out after the incident and discussing it here.
Reminds me of a similar incident that scared me at the range where I almost hit an old man in my backswing. I always practice with earbuds in and he approached me, talking, thinking I’d stop and chat. I had...
And opening the clubface also has the net effect of increasing bounce, which allows the clubhead to more easily travel through sand, keeping the speed up, and deliver the appropriate impact to the area thus blasting the ball out.
