I have an Odyssey Double Wide OG White Hot that I like a lot. I got a great deal on it at around $200 new. But like can happen I fell in love with a Toulon Garage Chicago Custom and pulled the trigger. Let me be clear, I expected noting more than a prettier putter and figured why not...I will just demote the Double Wide to my back-up bag. The Chicago is all I hoped it would be and sometimes we just have to do something nice and frivolous for ourselves right?

Here's a few comparison shots I found interesting. Once I put the same grip on both they were pretty close in total weight and balance.

Beautiful putter. They both look good, but that Toulon is 🔥

That Toulon is too pretty. I do want a double-wide style putter for my next one though.

Both are nice but the Toulon is really really cool.

And I wish the cover sent with my Toulon Garage putter was that one!

The very first picture in the post is pretty cool looking. Nice picture, nice putter!

The Toulon, just gorgeous.

The total package, the milling, the color scheme, the shape....

That Toulon is beautiful!

Well done!

I do love those Chicagos. Great looking putters!

That Chicago is everything!!

They're both great looking putters and I like the Double Wide (and the OG White Hot face) better as a gamer, but that Toulon is beautiful!

I haven't ever explored the whole topic of toe hang and what is considered "better," but they are significantly different (or are they?). I've always been fairly straight back and through, but previous putters I've owned did want to twist a bit on long putts. These two feel equally stable.

Gorgeous Chicago… well done. I also have an original Chicago, not as fancy but even still, just a great putter.

Both those putters look fantastically sharp!!!

I didn't custom order it but someone else spec'd it just the way I would have. I had only seen the Toulon Garage done with the black or sometimes green Stroke Lab shaft. The red is likely not as popular since it matches a standard Odyssey Stroke Lab shaft with just different graphics (Toulon on right). The light finish and red paint fill were what sucked me in.

That Toulon is absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoever did that for you is really good!

I had a Chicago once and this thread is making me think I need one again....

Man those are 2 beautiful looking putters.
How big of a difference is the feel between the 2?

Both are factory 34 but the Toulon is maybe 3/16 inch shorter. With identical grips now on the Toulon is just 16 grams heavier, 542 vs 526. Both balance very close to where the fiberglass meets the steel. Both have 30 gram butt end counterweights.

I don't feel a significant difference, and if I did, I could play with the changeable head weights, but I doubt I'll go to that extreme. My previous wand was an 816 gram Tommy Armour T-Line with a solid aluminum alloy shaftI I installed and it balanced halfway up the total length, so after adjusting from that anything else is trivial.
