Tour Event 2020 Bermuda Championship

Watching the replay now, Clark's tee shot on 17 was some kind of bad.

Did anybody want to win this tournament? Gay's layup for a three-putt bogey on 17 was not ideal.

With a leaderboard full of non winners at the start of the final round, it’s interesting that an old veteran journeyman ended up with another tour win.

Gay made amends with a birdie on 18 and a birdie on 18 again in the playoff. Clark played the first 11 holes in -7 and didn’t make a birdie in his final 8 holes. He had a 3 shot lead on the back 9 and couldn’t close the deal. I’m happy that Gay won, at 48, he is the oldest winner since Davis Love III a few years back. Also, he’s not very long off the tee, but is very accurate and he can putt. And he now has 5 PGA tour victories.

It's hard to believe he's held his tour card for 28 straight years.

Proud of Denny McCarty to get 4th with 6 straight birdies. He came out of Silver Spring MD then went to VA and my son still plays with him once in awhile at Argyle CC in Silver Spring. Great young man, 2 years in a row best in SG putting and working hard on rest of game! Class act as he handled a covid19 thing that kept him likely out of top 70 in Fed Ex with class and will win on tour one day.
