2020 Toulon Putter Thread

I've never been as confident in a putter as I have been in the Chicago...something just clicked and I feel like my putter is a weapon now compared to just trying to get the ball in the hole recently. I have birdie putts and I feel they will drop. It's a great feeling, feeling good about the flatstick and the Chicago is making everything feel right lol
It just gives you confidence standing over it.

I gave my Chicago a couple days off after 15 or so rounds since I bought it and went back to my Odyssey 10 which was solid performer to start the year. Unfortunately didn’t get any practice time with the Ten and was absolutely terrible so the Chicago was back in the bag and was stellar. Just the best blade butter I have ever owned....by a long shot.

I am so desperate to put Chicago in play only stupid USPS delivery gets here.
Delays, Delays and more delays,,,

I got an notice that it’s in city of Carson. Less than 10miles away and it’s been there since 29th of July. Must have something to do with C-19 but don’t know what.

You have the right of it, sir!!!

Happened upon a Garage Palm Beach with Stroke Lab for peanuts, so I had to give it a try. It is a plumbers neck which I have never played before, I have tried them and was never convinced it made much difference either way for me.
Maybe it will actually help me on the greens with my spastic putting, it really can't hurt.

@Snickerdog 27 putts with the Chicago today. Not leaving the bag!

New to me Toulon Garage Palm Beach, allegedly off the Tour truck but I think that is BS.15967417063091286280542065154533.jpg

1st time trying a PN putter, so we will see if it is the Unicorn

YESSSSS! Love to see it!

Went ahead and played this morning despite all the bangs and bruises and managed a 82 with 2 birdies on Par 3's. I like the Putter, it looks good behind the ball and puts a nice roll on it.

Once I relax a bit I am going to check the SW compared to my Atlanta and I may put my 40 gr weight in it, it seemed a bit light overall but I would guess it is compared to the Atlanta. It is also 34" and the Atlanta is 35" but the difference was not noticeable to me this morning.

I did notice right off the bat I had to move the ball back in my stance a bit or I pulled it left, since I have never played a Plumber's neck before maybe that is normal. Once I made the adjustment I made quite a few putts and a couple over 10 ft, which is a good day for me with any Putter.

So the Chicago was mighty today. Hardly missed a putt within 10 feet. Anything longer I was lagging up and leaving a tap in. I was really worrying this putter wasn’t for me but I am falling in love with it over the last two rounds.

Put the 40 gram weight in the Palm Beach which brought it up to the same static weight as my Atlanta, but i played on very slow greens to day and could not get the ball to the hole.

Dead in the heart but short over and over, I like the shape and the P.N. seems to be an non issue. You would think after a few holes I would adjust to the speed but it just never happened. Going to stay with it for a bit and play some faster greens and see what happens.

31 putts for todays round with the Chicago. 17/14 split. Left a few short but that was because of damp greens. Chicago just puts a nice roll on the ball.

After 36 putts Saturday, and struggled with distance control with TT10s, I went back to the Palm Beach. 31 putts Sunday and just felt much much better on distance control. Toulon is back in the top spot, and I am trying to avoid continuing to look at the Chicago because it is so pretty and I may have to buy one!
