2021 Club Prices - Full sets

Inspired by @Jason89er Sticker shock thread, I got bored and went online and looked up what full sets would cost from each OEM. In his thread he was pricing out a Driver, 3w,5w,7w,5h,6h,7h,8-LW. Granted this set makeup wouldn't apply to everyone but I thought it would still be fun to price it all out and see where the lines shook out.

Note - I only looked at clubs that could be still custom ordered. So while some of these are prior year models they still appear in the oem's line as available to be custom ordered.

Also I had to get creative for sets like the Epic as they do not have Epic hybrids or irons so in that case I used the Apex line and I assumed pricing would be similar to the Epic if those clubs come out.
Also I had to piece together a set from Mizuno as well as they do not have STZ/X hybrids or irons so I used the CLK and JPX921HM irons to round out the set.

To get the dialogue going, the way the prices shook out really didn't surprise me. The biggest shocker is that the PXG 0211 '21 model can be viewed as a really solid value.
Who knew Wilson would cost more
 
how about taylormade?

these prices aren’t out of whack to me. especially if you do what you’re supposed to do, which is keep this stuff for 5-7 years. I’M not familiar with that lol but it would amortize the cost and make it more palatable.

Yeah that is what I pointed out in the other thread. FW and Hybrids account for $840-$3000 depending on the set.
 
Does anyone know what the best woods are out right now?
 
I run into almost the same problem when I buy new clubs. I only get one fairway wood (usually) but I use five hybrids. They are also more costly than irons.

I added a chart to my original post to price it out with a more traditional setup (driver, 2 fairways, 1 hybrid 5-LW) setup

I hear ya. A Few years back I wanted to try the Bertha 2016 hybrids. I bought them a year or so out so they were discounted but to piece together a 3h, 4h, 5h, 6h, 7h still added up quickly.
 
Nice work @erock9174. Some surprises in there for sure!

1. Big change for PXG and their pricing!
2. How about the deal to be had for a full set of Mavrik clubs?!
3. $900 for the XXIO driver...

To be fair, $900 is for the brand new XXIO Prime. XXIO X (players club) and XXIO 11 are several hundred less than that.

I completely agree - the Prime is a premium luxury product and likely pointed towards a slightly different demographic. The $900 price just stood out to me when making the comparison to others.

The woods sure do look good though; gold and deep, rich black are beautiful.

Their other drivers run $649-$700. To me that would stick out as well. Still $100-$150 more than a Cally or TM.

Disposable income for this Old Guy is hard to come by after paying membership fee's 😢.

Very good information here about pricing. I do think that Tour Edge is a really good value.
