that first td call was awful, the hand is not the ball. Ball needs to cross the goal line, did they say something about that? I can not hear anything here

They were also really really good at that time. Just before there 4 year win streak. I prefer the 1941 LSU Tigers.

Said the ball was across the horizontal plane of the goal line when the right arm hit the pylon. The ref on the broadcast concurred fwiw

They explained the rule. Hand can hit pylon as long as ball is passed pylon on either side.
