Now that you've offered that possibility you can eitherright? I went to bed debating about if I should just simply order a set now.
Let me spend more than a dozen swings with them, but if both sets of numbers look good….Now that you've offered that possibility you can either
1. Order them
2. Be hounded mercilessly about how you should have already ordered them.
Up to you. Here and ready.
They probably will but in 1-2 years would be my guess. Before I dive in and buy these…
Do we think they’ll get the black(grey)out treatment like the Tours![]()
Who needs numbers? Just order the damn things like I did. Then you have an excuse when you play badLet me spend more than a dozen swings with them, but if both sets of numbers look good….
Agreed. No better time than now.I could probably wait a bit…it is winter soon up here so I might just mess them up playing on mats until the spring lol
But on the other hand…
Why delay the inevitable
What hideous language is this?!!?it is winter soon up here so I might just mess them up playing on mats until the spring lol
I brought this up to yags and Jose at the MC specifically because of the omission of Nippon that others have stock. It’s a big miss based on what I’ve seen out of those shafts.Alright, little gripe time. Clubs are awesome performers. Love how many people like the X. Looks and feels, yes, yes, yes. - Shaft options has been a bit of a problem.
Graphite is tough. Basically ESX, PGI, TGI, Catalyst. Everything else an extra $50/club. A bunch of which are not upcharge for competitors.
Steel, I don't even know how to respond on some. Good spread of KBS, DG 105, Elevate. But things like all the Modus, PX, PX LZ, DG 120, all the DG Mids, all being upcharge is tough too.
When that stuff gets priced out against some competitors there's a divide. Cobra players are pretty loyal, but new customers seem to be taking notice.
I can’t disagree here. The handful of shafts I typically get along with are all upcharge ones. I’m guessing after I get fit we will find one that works, but would be nice to have a wider offeringI brought this up to yags and Jose at the MC specifically because of the omission of Nippon that others have stock. Maybe eventually they will, they just came outIf they had the OL King TecX in the “utry” program at Global Golf, I would be testing them against my current set. I did that with the OL Aerojet and fell in love with the trial set.
I 100% believe that they will. I think that the AJ OL were there within a few weeks of release. I love my current clubs, but would like to have a 2 week head to head trial again with VL vs OLMaybe eventually they will, they just came out
You can always swap shafts after ordering!I can’t disagree here. The handful of shafts I typically get along with are all upcharge ones. I’m guessing after I get fit we will find one that works, but would be nice to have a wider offering
I do agree that ball can get you both spin and some improvement in trajectory if you need to tweak. Maybe a little loft adjustment too if it comes down to it.I’m thinking I’m going to pick up a set of King Tecs to try. There are a few reasons. First, I prefer the stock shaft in the King Tec and I don’t want to start messing with shaft builds with this set. Second, while they seemingly are not as the X, I like the spin numbers I am seeing from others. Third, @Parrot seems to show solid distance numbers with the KT that would be similar to my King Tour set now. If I don’t get enough spin, I can always change to the Bridgestone BXS ball.
I’m a draw player, and I am liking where my iron play has been lately. I faired better with the King Tours than the Aerojets long term. All of this makes me want to try the KY. If it doesn’t work, I can order the KTX with my Morgan Cup order.
I have a call in to try to track down a local set with my local shop.
Well there are two sets that have my eye and only one can be Morgan Cup ordered… the math checks out, lolI love that we multiple Morgan Cup participants either buying or almost buying these already![]()
