Can’t have a WB release without the BB! It’s exciting that we were/are the first non Tour people in the world to get these in hand to work with.Fantastic write up @Jman! These looks fantastic and personally I love the matte look. Can’t want to give one a swing.
I had a hunch this was the mystery shaft even if I was a little hopeful it was going to be both BB and RB.
How though? A blue board that looks like the past 4/5 blue boards isn’t exactly good for the new version marketing wise. Golfers not crazy on a forum like us, so 90% out there, can’t differentiate and would simply go with the cheaper one as opposed to the higher performance and more technologically advanced one.
You guys and your logo up….As with the WB, the Blue Board looks great in hand. I never had the chance to play a BB in the past so this will be my first experience with it. The early results from the WB have me very excited to give this a go. I’ve got the same 53 X ready to get in play.
I love the matte black with the blue board and white flowers. It’s just enough to make the shaft pop when looking at it. I have it I. The Darkspeed X so it does go perfectly with the pops of blue on the driver.

For the first picture onlyYou guys and your logo up….![]()
It’s why THP and these Experiences are amazing.Great write up @Jman. Your article brought me right back to the Ballyhack table and discussions with Mark and Jonathan. You could really tell how excited both of them and Mitsubishi are for this release.
Can you that THP and the Tour are the only ones playing this shaft?!![]()
Oh thank goodnessFor the first picture only![]()
But still worth having conversation over. There are lots of options to keep it blue and update it. It is fine as is and I am being extremely picky here. At the end of the day it is the smallest of details and complaints. Really not a complaint, just a simple preference that is easily overcome. I just liked the blue. But that it is not, is really not a big deal at all.
I want a 60 gram white for a driver and a 83 gram blue to install into my 19 degree UW...
yep!!But still worth having conversation over.
That would be fun to see you hitGreat writeup, sounds like one I would get along with. The 43X kind of caught my eye as something I'd be curious to try
I really would like to get the 53X in to mess withOh man, I see some lighter weight shafts being tested. After trying some, really looking forward to the 60g and below weight class performance.
It is appreciated! I looked at the data provided and compared it to the WB, but was wondering if such comparison would serve a purpose inside the article as side by side?Thank you for reading the review my guy!
We went super heavy on the detail both tech and performance!![]()
It wasn’t done in the article because the WB’s we reviewed were 63 X/S, and this is 73X, it wouldn’t be an apples to apples comparison. It is appreciated! I looked at the data provided and compared it to the WB, but was wondering if such comparison would serve a purpose inside the article as side by side?
The Blue produced really nice numbers for you!
looks awesome! can't wait to hear how it plays for youTipped it (with adapter), trimmed it and gripped it this weekend and ready for it's first action this afternoon.

Yes, my stock flight is a fade. I’m not a high spin golfer, I’m at a good speed and low spin by nature/delivery.Love the blue feel from Mitsubishi. @Jman a couple nagging questions.
The numbers posted: was this a stock ball flight?
I ask because at 2500 spin if you are fading the ball (only 9 yards dispersion is pretty damn good) the spin may be slightly higher.
What length do you have this built?
Thats why I was asking... I can creep into the 3k range on well struck balls. Sounds like a solid combo.Yes, my stock flight is a fade. I’m not a high spin golfer, I’m at a good speed and low spin by nature/delivery.
All driver shaft tests I do are at 44.75 as that’s my gamer playing length.
