I would think that the head doesn't matter when you get along well with the shaft, but you never know!

2024 Mitsubishi Diamana BB Shaft – Blue Board is Back
The BB is ready for the GT3 and I pick it up tomorrow. Will be on the range Friday and hopefully get a round in this weekend we will see.
Well, I took my first swings with the Diamana BB in my new GT3 today. It was bomb city I was having a day on the range with everything I touched. I hit the Air speeder 3 times then the BB 3 times. They are very close in performance, but the BB has a different feel to it. I want to say it feels more stable throughout the swing. I also was hitting the BB higher today than I ever have. It was great to see the height and distance I was getting. These were nice high draws. My plan is if I get to play this weekend, I want to play the BB on 9 and the Air speeder on 9 to see the on-course results. I have a feeling my miss hits will be much better with the BB.

I played with the BB in the GT3 today. I hit driver 5 times and only missed 2 FW. One of those shots was just off by about 3 yards and the other shot I pulled it to the left trying to get all I could out of it lol. I really like how the BB times up for me so it is staying in. I get to play on Thursday in a scramble so on a course I play often. I am excited to see how it goes.

I am still loving mine as well. I also hit an X flex version when @SkiBumGolfer came out to visit and it almost didn't feel like an X because of the flex profile. It was only 1 swing, but me being an S flex person, I didn't feel that it was too boardy or stiff for me, which is amazing.

It’s the beauty of the whole Diamana line, none of them play boardy. It’s why always gravitate back to the White.

Yep, 100%. I said it a bunch in this thread, it's the smoothest X flex I've ever swung. It doesn't NEED you to go after it to get good results, but it can easily stand up to those aggressive moves.
It is really good for me. That carry for me is huge! I am glad I finally got the BB in the GT3.
The BB is permanent in the bag after today’s round!
I haven't been in here much lately because life has been crazy with the kid and work and family stuff, but I wanted to drop in here again and sing the praises of the BB again. I've been having major swing troubles the last month or two, but this shaft is keeping me in it. The last 10 rounds I've averaged 270 P-Avg off the tee with driver and still managed to stay in line with my historical fairways hit of about 40%. There's definitely more in it once I get the swing sorted, but to be able to put out numbers like this with a swing I feel absolutely no comfort with right now is a minor miracle that I attribute to the good fit of both the BB and the GT3.
Oh and the feel continues to stand out. I plugged my old driver shaft back in for comparison once to see if I noticed a difference, and it was immediate. The smoothness of the Diamana line is palpable even in just one swing.

The feel is just so good with the Diamana line. I hit one drive at my lesson yesterday lol. My coach said no need to work on that today let’s go to the putting green.
Today is range day with the next two days of playing time! Tomorrows round the BB will get used on every hole except the par 3s!

The BB in my GT3 is turning out to be a killer combo.I am seeing better dispersion and when my swing is good the distances are killer. At yesterday’s lesson I was seeing more carry than usual and with roll out I was into the 290-295 range. My coach challenged me to see 300 on the trackman for the total distance. I came up short on this swing at 299.8 lol. I’m not sure I can hit a better drive. I love how the BB feels and even swinging harder than normal it handles it so smoothly!

Got the BB 63x cut down a bit and put on my grip of choice, hoping i can get on the sim in the next day or 2 and compare to the ventus blue 6x which has been really good to me.
I’m sure I sound like a broken record but the Diamana BB is freaking awesome. 9 FW hit today with the BB and the GT3! I had 3 other drives that were maybe 5-10 yards off the FW to the left and not in any trouble. I also have ZERO regrets on going to the 43g shaft for the driver!
I had three great drives with the Diamana BB GT3 combo today. The first drive was 305 on a par 4 that I left myself 72 yards to the pin. The next hole is a par 5 that I went right over the trees to the fw and left myself 187 to the pin. The shot below is hole 8 a par 5. I hit a high draw that carried the bunker on the left and hit the speed slot and ended up 319! The driver felt effortless today and the distance was awesome. Having a shot to get on the par 5’s in two is nice. I got on the second par 5 and just missed the eagle. I went into bunker on the first Par 5 but made the par. The BB does not disappoint.
I am happy you are still enjoying yours like I am mine. I don't hit the ball high enough to get it over trees generally, so I try to go straight and almost clip trees if I need to cut a corner. Sometimes I will actually try to turn the ball in the air as well, but not often.
