I have a family friend who is otherwise bat **** crazy. Her BSC has a multiplier for all things Alabama and especially Saban. I can only imagine what it would do to her if Saban returned to LSU. Thankfully, for her sake - and mine not having to listen to it - Miss Terry appears to have made it pretty clear that he won't be returning to the sidelines.

Nope. Everyone knows what happened.
PSU did. They lost their status as one of the winningest programs which is why they appealed. So it matters for program bragging, recruiting, etc. USC found forever over the wins and Heisman

Except take away an official national title which will never be recognized. USC doesn’t get use that national title as part of their history. It’s viewed much like Mich‘s title these days. Sure folks will argue it might be the best team but everyone will always think of the scandal.
Typical Arkansas, so yeah. Arky should have given Petrino the reigns, IMO. Franklin doesn’t do big games, and recruiting to Arky is tough even with their resources.

Really? I don’t think anyone I’ve ever talked about football takes that title away. Everyone knows what happened on the field. I sure don’t think about scandal with SC or Michigan. I think it’s dumb NCAA narrative. Those teams won the title on the field. To argue otherwise is silly.
You don’t hear about SC anymore but Mich you read it everywhere. Winning on the field doesn’t take away how it was won. You have a massive document the size of a harry potter novel documenting how a program systematically cheated and did everything to cover it up including throwing evidence in lakes and the ncaa stating literally the only reason they didn’t strip the title is it would punish the players. Yet they stripped MSU of wins (Not the first time certain schools get a pass. Hello UNC! How they got off the hook will always boggle minds after decades of fake degrees. They even sued by formers players of their championship winning teams. Yet some small school got like 2-3 year ban and coach forced to resign a few months ago because the school bought their players a few extra meals in NIL era. Again protected schools .). It would be like a golfer changing his lies repeatedly at a tournament and winning while seemly being caught. Sure you won and you’ll have a trophy but the majority of people question its legitimacy.
