2025-2026 College football thread

I generally don't mind the Big Ten or their fans - except Ohio State.

Their "f**k Dolly Parton" chants and matching t-shirts last year were tantamount to declaring war on the entire State of Tennessee.
I’m a LSU fan but that Dolly slander will not be tolerated.

And here I thought you are the embodiment of Louisiana, you do have a heart 🤣🤣🤣

Facts… Brian Kelly should be sued for negligence at least.

I just don’t understand what’s happening with people’s brains anymore

The NCAA unearthed another revenue stream Friday when Division I leaders approved patches for uniforms in a move that could generate millions to fund athletic departments that are looking for new ways to pay players.

Beginning Aug. 1, Division I teams can place up to two patches of no more than 4 square inches on uniforms for regular-season games. Those are in addition to the logos already allowed for the uniform manufacturers.

Rules committees for the postseason will decide how to handle March Madness, the College World Series and other playoff tournaments, with attention being paid to making sure individual schools aren't advertising for companies that compete with NCAA sponsors.

lol that would put duke in over Miami 🤣🤣🤣
If they had to put in Duke and ND would they have kept Bama over Miami? We know JMU would be out but we dont know if they kept a 3 loss Bama in.

Miami felt like a reach around for the ACC since they were getting no one in with the season ending rankings.

I just feel like the SEC get preferential treatment. So yeah bama gets dog walked right into the playoff s

Again if ND automatically in then would the committee look at Miami that beat them over Bama that lost bad in SEC championship and had 3 losses. They didn't move down at all but with a new format would they have? Cant just assume SEC bias.

Why assume when the track record is there? It’s like innocent until proven guilty.
