Great, now Weee, we, weeeee is stuck in my head.Having owned a 19° in the OG and now a 17° in this iteration, I can say I'm not sure I have ever owned a club that was more fun to hit. Each swing is:

Hit this club the least of all my clubs at the range yesterday. It was because every shot just did exactly what it was supposed to do. High and straight. Really enjoy this spot of my bag.
This club continues to perform. It has a very good shot to become my favorite in the bag.
I used it twice during my sim round yesterday. Once on a par 3 that was 200 to the flag with not much room to miss short, and then out of the rough on an approach after a not great tee shot.
For this shot, I wasn’t confident in carrying my 5i to the green and couldn’t afford a short miss, so I moved the ball forward in my stance to where I’d play driver and the UW did not disappoint.
Out of the rough, took my normal swing and got a great number. This club is fitting exactly into the gap I was hoping it would. It is so fun to hit.

Hello! Looking for some advice on the top end of my bag. Currently using a 11.5 mini driver, longest iron is a 5. Tried hybrids but never hit them well due to the closed face when looking down, just didn't make sense to me. 5 Wood very inconsistent because I'm still very new to the game. Undecided if I should go 21 or 23 degree UW and maybe later grab a 17 or 19?
It will depend on many factors. For example, when my Back is feeling great I have hit my 21⁰ 235ish (this was done twice on same Hole). When Back is a bit sore Im more 205-215. The UW has a "lively" Head, but is also forgiving on off center strikes.
I have seen several used UWs at PGA stores so you might try hitting a few. You will Not be disappointed.
I think you have a good plan. These fill a really cool spot in the bag. I could easily have them replace all of my woods if I wasn’t enamored with my woods.
Unfortunately I live in Canada. Only one store near me has stock and it's a 21. Wanted the 23. Might just take a chance and roll with it.
What number are you looking to hit with it and what’s your speed?
I’m seeing a pretty consistent 210-215 carry at 93-95 mph club head speed with the 21°
I love this club inside 220. Always playable. Worked today on the range with some things my instructor showed me to shallow out my swing and I'm seeing the biggest gains with this club for some reason. Ball flight is piercing.

Looking for a 180-200 carry club. For reference, My mini driver goes around 230 carry, not sure what my swing speed is on that. I did manage to pick up the 21 degree head but it came with a tensei black instead of the blue, even though i asked them on the phone to confirm it was the blue shaft.

U will find out that U will remove any Club ti put that Club in. It reminds me of my old Ping Zing Blondie 5W. So good at everything and kept in Bag from new in the 90s to when I finally replaced it last year with the 21⁰. I do miss the look of the Blondie at Address though.
Do you think that I would notice a big difference between the Tensei 1k black vs the Tensei AV blue?
Black shaft I have in hand. Blue one I would have to order from Callaway and wait a month. That's torture! Especially after reading through this whole thread
Sorry, have no idea. I've aways been able to play whatever Shaft was stock. Saying that Im sure a proper Fitting would show improvements. One exception was when I tried Steel Fiber in my ZX5s during fitting...Oh H.. No.

I hit my 21* UW today and was hitting it just as far as my previous gen 19*. I was also hitting the 21* with better dispersion. The sound/feel is an improvement IMO.
It is an outstanding combo of sound and feel. I absolutely love this club
The improvement from the last gen to this one is astounding.
Shhhh, I don't want my 1st Gen 21⁰ to hear.

When I hit this in the sim, I hear this “whoosh” sound. Hard to describe. Reminds me of the noise with a hard swing of a whiffle ball bat. I like it. Not sure if it’s imagined or real as I haven’t seen others comment on this.
