Tying the new APEX Utility Series together is a club which has been in development for years from Callaway Golf. As we have continued to see more and more Apex iron releases, the question among some consumers had shifted to if perhaps Callaway had gotten out of the utility iron game. Well, to my fellow […]

Nice to see ut irons making a comeback at Callaway

Might be my favorite looking utility that I've seen. I do wonder how much crap would get caught up in that seam on the sole, but I suppose that's not that big of an issue. All the tech they packed into a relatively small package is kind of mind-boggling.

Callaway continuing to cover the spectrum of offerings. 🔥

Good grief, Callaway is killing it. Might have to add an extra fitting day to the Grandaddy!
I know you are saying it as a joke, but I think they might give every area of the bag enough time to really get into it. Callaway just keeps coming out with so many great options.

This club is super interesting. There’s a lot going on there, and may be polarizing to a lot of traditionalists. I like that this exists for the better ball strikers out there that love a driving iron, or need to flight down a ball to stay low in windy conditions.
It looks great, especially at address.

The tech designed to increase face flex sounds like it could make it a really hot iron. I’m excited to see feedback once these get in hands of the masses.

Yep. From what I’ve learned following previous Grandaddy’s, I think those guys can name your tune in 5 swings or less.

🤣

Geat looking options, but these are not made for me.

Super intriguing with all that tech.

This view is kinda crazy off the sole

If 15 clubs were allowed, this would be it.

2 month lead before retail is aggressive these days

There are few things I irrationally love more than utility irons. Love the look of this one, so I will give it some swings once they make it to retail

Crazy all the tech added here. Looks like a big advancement.

For the type of player that plays these clubs, is the design too busy? The tech is really interesting, but there’s also a lot going on visually.

I knew you made that post about Utility Irons for a reason, lol!

It’s been a few years since I’ve had one in the bag. Mainly due to the UW and now gaming a 5W.

There is absolutely tons going on under the hood of that thing. Awesome stuff from Callaway.

So much tech going on here. I love it. This may be more club than I need, but I’m always intrigued by Utility Irons. Cannot wait to learn more about FLEXCORE. I can’t imagine this is the only time we see it.

You’ve been putting in the work @Jman and it is greatly appreciated

Might I say the best Utility iron we've seen from them in quite some time. Really love what's going on with this one. If I can get some more speed back I'd love to game a strong one of these again off the tee

A 24° could be a lot of fun.

It has been a long time since I've gamed a UT iron. These look pretty darn good and might have to try

nah... I don't think people would say much if the performance is there with the tech.. good thought though. I'm sure someone will complain because its what they do

Hahahah!!

This was why @Jman was chuckling about the utility thread revival yesterday..

Killing it today @Jman

I have a UT and this just isn't for me. I have the speed and strike but hate the fact that its more demanding that other options in this area of the bag.

The FLEXCORE looks like something that could be a sign of things to come in near future releases?
