When Cobra Golf released the DS ADAPT hybrids back in December, there was a lot to like with the versatility they bring to the table, especially with the inclusion of FutureFit33. However, there was also a group of us lunatics that were perhaps hoping for a few more options, specifically from the KING TEC portion […]

these hybrids look interesting. Might need one to go with my king tec x one irons.

looks great! I had the 2021 in the bag for a short time then and it was a rocket launcher.

Is MMT the stock shaft choice?

Well, these look interesting. Love that they’ve included the new adapter to adjust lie independently.

The carbon top is really good!

The best thing for me here is the 2023 model should drop in price.

I still have the OG in the bag at 19 degrees. It’s still getting the job done but Id like to have a new toy. Purchased a 4H this weekend that’s not as distance oriented as the original. The 3H’s I tried couldn’t beat the King Tec out of the bag. I’ll find one of these and give it a go soon.

Forgot to mention: I love that deeper face and high toe.

Love the new King Tec hybrids! The -23 version is one of my favorites ever. And the addition of FF33 makes this a pretty much must buy for me. This year will be expensive...

Love the look of these. Decisions have to be made.

Oh my. Love the shape of these. Fantastic looking hybrids!

Great write up @Jman Love the decision by Cobra to redo the looks of the King Tec hybrids making them more compact to help differentiate the hybrid lines. Not sure these are going to be in my bag but they look great for this category of players hybrid.

very excited about this hybrid. Got to see it in person a few months back and absolutely loved how it frames the ball. I like that it is now a smaller head shape

I already have plans for this to replace my current 4h

Superb review, these hybrids look amazing especially the more compact King Tec, I cannot wait to test these because I currently play a Darkspeed 17 degree plus I also have a King Tec (2023) 19 degree which I play on specific courses as a 5 wood replacement.

Same. Hahaha

I’m gonna MAKE space for at least one 🤣
It’s going to be a tough decision but I’m probably in the same camp.

Such a good looking hybrid and just PACKED with technology. Likely not my ideal club, but I still love it 😍

What do you look for or need in a hybrid? Or just don't gel with hybrids in general?

Also find it really interesting that Cobra went with the one length hybrids in this line keeping with the decision of going OL in the King Tec X instead of the DS adapt line, making one length more in the "Players" categories.

What starts to happen with some of the hybrids with smaller profiles is that they just launch and spin too low for me and I hit bullets with them, especially in the lower lofts. I need a little more back to front size and the associated weighting benefits to get the most out of them.

Man! So much goodness announced today. The options Cobra is giving the golfers is amazing. FutureFit AND moving or weights??!!! Yes please!

Hybrids have always been hook machines for me. Maybe with FF33 and moveable weights and I can at least reduce the left miss. These are pretty high on my list to try this year.

The Tec hybrids have historically been incredibly anti hook, these continue that DNA

The old King Tec hybo was the hottest hybrid off the face I ever had in the bag. But the moveable weighting allowed me to negate my left miss. With FutureFit on these it makes it an intriguing option as I map out the new bag for 2025. 🤔

The releases keep coming!!

The King Tec hybrid with the FF33 adapter is diabolical. These are going to be a shot makers dream, and win some people a lot of money in weekend games.

Ohhh these look good. That square toe look always attracts me with hybrids, and this +/- 15 yards of directional correction could be a game changer for people in the longer clubs. Really looking forward to hearing some thoughts from our MC crew on these!
