2025 MLB Thread + Hot Stove Off Season

Walk off double play. Wow.

And Blue Jays leave Springer on deck. One at bat away from a Kirk Gibson meets Joe Carter chance at glory

Didn't have "Dodgers defense" anywhere on my bingo card. Wow.

What a terrible base running decision

Holy f**k that is so unlucky.

I blame them for letting Gimenez hit. He’s been absolutely awful tonight.

f**k me that sucks. Game 7 it is.

I would love to catch a flight to CIN and get drunk with you watching game tomorrow. I might have to check Orbitz to see whats up.

Edit: It's actually not terrible

That's a flare. If it drops, 3-2 with Springer coming up. All we needed was a single and it probably is better having him up than someone swinging for the fences.

Base runner needed to be closer to 2b since it was a little flare and momentum coming it.

If I wasn’t positive the boss would want to watch together I would do it. Sounds like this thread will be popping though. Can’t wait.

My Dad ( not a sports fan) felt sports outcome was fixed and would always tell me dont bother watching it’s going to game 7 cause owners conspired to make sure they can make as money from the fans as possible.

If that were true every series would go 7.

I believe your dad knew what he was talking about.

Let’s get this out of the way now. However tomorrow turns out, great season Blue Jays. Heck of a team. Congratulations

I’m not sure which day but apparently this happened

This guy was behind home plate in Toronto putting bad juju on the Dodgers' Japanese players.

"The "bad luck" associated with Colonel Sanders in Japan is a superstitious curse known as the "Curse of the Colonel," which began in 1985 after fans of the Hanshin Tigers baseball team threw a statue of Colonel Sanders into the Dotonbori River. The team had been unsuccessful in winning a championship since that event, leading fans to believe the statue's owner had cursed them."

Two best words in sports... "Game 7."

Just rewatched the 9th inning. Absolutely crazy. Right call was made in the lodged ball…just fluky thing to happen in that spot. Smart play by the CF to immediately throw his arms up in that moment instead of making a play on it.

I think it was AROD who said it in the postgame, but not way the runner should be getting doubled up off of 2nd base for that final out.

I expect to be locked in tonight.
