CONTEST 2025 NFL Draft Thread

They need OL help more. Take Lineman with first pick then trade up and draft QB.
i totally agree....if you're not sold on a qb in this draft, then roll with Rudolph and build inside out and plan for a qb next year. no way i am trading for Cousins.

Rumors are if Sanders slides, he won't get past him. I would love them to draft him and set that org back a few more years with QB issues, lol
Dude having grown up there and see the complacently kick in they are slowly declining. There is a ton of nepotism and we’ve been winning for years but the dudes that make that possible are long gone

DRAFT TONIGHT....WOOOHOOO!!!!!

i absolutely love watching the draft, it is a tradition with me and my brother but now since i moved away we still do wings and text back and forth but no buffalo wild wing night.

i have been listening to the sports talk stations out here in Pitt and they seem to be all over the place. today they said the Steelers could easily draft up to 8 different guys including Dart and Sanders. it seems like they are not sold on either Dart or Sanders and could end up drafting Milroe in the early 2nd or even jumping back in late 1st and taking him.
Being a Steelers fan is such an exercise in frustration these days

In my opinion, Pittsburgh might be the only place Sanders can somewhat succeed.

A lot of noise about the Bears and Jags working out a deal at 5 if Jeanty is still there, but Jags may want an extra pick Chicago isn't willing to part with, and Jags would stick and take Jeanty if not...

Because the offense is super anemic?
Because Pittsburgh somehow makes players with big egos succeed when they cant succeed anywhere else. Usually its a wide receiver, but it could happen at QB.

Uhh dude it’s blown up the locker room recently Pickens has been a big issue

I love the NFL draft. I am buzzing this morning.

As historically a much larger College Football Fan, the draft is so fun for me to see where players go. And how they rank.

Show me an NFL player without a big ego haha

The winner will receive a THP Prize Pack, so get those picks out and post them below. Please make sure your picks are in order 1-5. It doesn’t matter what team makes the pick, only that you get 1-5 correct.

1. Cam Ward
2. Travis Hunter
3. Abdul Carter
4. Will Campbell
5. Ashton Jeantry

Tiebreaker: How many trades will take place in Round 1? 3
Tiebreaker 2: Who is the 2nd QB taken? Sanders

Lies.
Being a nice guy doesnt remove ego.
I’m sure he was confident but there was never any drama around him as far as I remember. He was also a standout at this backwater school called Pitt and he was just a down to earth guy. Spent like 10-20 minutes with me when I asked for a signed jersey. Maybe I’m biased

There isnt drama around a lot of players.

i'm hoping for some big trades...always makes it more fun when its crazy
Especially when it’s seemingly out of nowhere. I wasn’t following things too closely, but there’s AJ brown trade a few years back comes to mind

Yeah the success is always temporary and they try to let them go before they get to that point. See AB, Martavis Bryant, Diontae Johnson etc.

AB has half a functioning brain after that hit. He gets a pass

AS a Raiders fan and their pick at 6 I certainly hope not. But if my history with the Raiders for the last 38 years is any indicator they will most likely pick someone who will be out of the league in 2 years. So they will not have Jeanty available to draft unfortunately.

sounds like the Bears are going to be dealing

Shedeur Sanders isn't going to fail because of his ego. He has the perfect ego to be an NFL QB. Nothing about the Sanders family should scream ego or approach being an issue. Deion is the epitome of a dude who practices what he preaches and puts that into his kids.

Sanders might fail because he's not a great athlete and takes too many sacks, and might have the skillset of a good backup or average starter. But he sure as hell isn't going to fail because of his ego.

We shall see. Deions approach was fantastic for a CB but you need a whole new skill set especially in the age of diva receivers

This.
This guy has too much ego but Baker Mayfield didnt?

I'm just saying everyone focuses on the flash as being an issue, but the Sanders family is all ball. I don't get why people think he's a "Me" guy.
