Augusta is a totally different animal. I dont really put much stock in that result as it plays in other locations.. 3 years ago a 70 year old finished better than Bryson there.

I get it but it’s a bit of revisionist history and short sided. We are talking a month ago that Reed did this. I will agree Augusta is tougher so Quail Hollow should be easier for Reed.

I get it you hate LIV and the LDS runs deep, but objectively anyone can see LIV players have just as good a shot as any of the top PGA players

Rahm has stated more than once, he hates this course. Brooks, I dont think is the major Brooks that he was. I see a missed cut here. Neimann I am not sure. He has not really showed in majors yet. But I would think he does ok.

He's got 3 top 8 finishes here including 2nd at the 2017 PGA Championship lol. This place is set up for draws and that is his stock shot.

2017 was a long time ago!! He is not anywhere near the same player and he does not have the pop to get around the corners.

I don’t think Augusta is tougher for Patrick Reed. Plenty of runout and whatnot there. There won’t be any of that at Quail Hollow. Also lots more long bombers in this field to compete with than there were at Augusta with a lot less pros in the field. Quail Hollow you need to be actually long, you can’t hit the low draw runners like you can at Augusta. I’m not saying Reed won’t do well, but he is better suited for Augusta than Quail Hollow.

He always so hard to get a read on. Was like that when he was on the PGA Tour as well.

This (self admittedly I believe) is the reason he plays. Regardless of the tour, every round that’s not in a major is just a practice round for one that is. I think a lot of golf fans these days are with him. Now that Rory has his slam, I’d love nothing more than to see Brooks pile them up.

Man tomorrow does not look ideal to watch this at all. Probably will catch an hour or so in morning and then miss the rest of the morning wave.
 
I guess I’ll watch some of this tomorrow.
