2025 Titleist T-Series Irons

I’d love to try the 250 and 350 myself. I really like the plain looking club head.
Every time I show someone the T350 they cannot wrap their head around it is a GI iron.

I agree. I put it side by side to the ZXi5 and they looked like the same size to me...
I did that with my 925's and I swore it was smaller. I am sure it was not, but the visual was killer.

No doubt! It’s gotta be not having a visual cavity. Every GI/SGI and even some PD irons have the cavity with some sort of visual faceplate. Not having that really streamlines the 250/350 looks and implies the image of blades. Not to mention the perfect sizing across the T-series board! Great success!

We are so back! Honestly the 5i is probably my favorite club in the bag. I did not realize how often I use it on my home course until I went without it for essentially the last month. Need a punch or low flighted 180 club? 5i. Need a high 190-200 club? 5i. Really screwed up and now I gotta get myself out of the trees? 5i!

Last round out was in a steady 15-25mph wind with frequent 25-30mph gusts so it was time to work on knock down shots.

I can hit my T150 PW around 130 so having the trust an easy knock down swing from 114 takes commitment, but I pulled it off nicely and had less than 20' for birdie, which I made. This is a shot that I need to build confidence in since we play in windy conditions more often than not. Controlling the launch and lowering the flight is pretty straightforward with the T150s.

I also had a nice knock down shot from around 160 with the T250 6i. Nice boring flat and penetrating flight that did almost exactly what I needed it to do. I just took a bit too much off of it and ended up around 10 yards short of my goal.

Down wind takes adjusting too of course. I had around 172 with 15mph or so helping wind and decided to hit 8i for a back / back middle-ish flag (so I played for short rather than long). Normally I'd play the T150 8i for around 150-155, and I ended up around 20' short of the flag for a decent look at birdie, which I missed by an inch. This time I hit the ball up high and let the wind take it...launched quick and got high in the air.

Overall the T150s and T250s shined, and it was a great round for building confidence in these types of conditions

Nice! How would you compare the effort it takes to work the ball with the 150s vs 250s?

So far I think the required effort is similar. I thought I’d struggle to keep the T250 6i flighted down but I’ve been using it a lot recently to punch out under trees and have been pleasantly surprised by how well it works For that

I just wanted to share a quick experience I just had with the T350.

Let me preface this by saying, I want to hit every single iron that releases. And I’ve probably hit around 75% of them, from GI to players irons. I hit around 100 shots with the T350 today paired with the KBS $ Taper Lite shaft (low spin/high launch).

The T350 is without a doubt the lowest spinning head I have ever hit. Unequivocally. My average spin was ~4200. I’m a low spin player to begin with, typically around ~5200. I’m not sure if it was the head itself or the pairing with a low spin shaft.

HOWEVER. With the tungsten and the higher trajectory, my descent angle averaged 46.4 degrees. I was getting the easiest distance I have EVER seen. Also, unequivocally.

I was swinging easy at first ~75 mph. I had one swing that stood out as insane. 74 mph club speed that gave me 161 yards of carry with a peak height of 97 ft with a 44 degree descent angle. Spin was just under 4k, but everything else was perfect.

And I continued to hit shot after shot very similar to these numbers at an easy swing speed. I’m normally low 80’s.

To be honest, I’m completely enamored by these and I really want to hit them again. I did demo the previous gen T350 and I got plenty of height, but they were shorter than almost everything else I tried. I’ve just never hit an iron that gave me such easy distance. I could focus more on solid contact at 76-78 mph instead of trying to hammer it at 82-84.

Definitely a club for everyone in the last release. Did you by chance give the 250s a try.

Great stuff! I feel like the consistency of this release is something that continues to get brought up by people hitting/playing them.

Got out to play my weekly sim league round today, and thanks to some firepower off the tee, had plenty of opportunities to work with the T150 short irons. The swing change is starting to feel like it’s clicking a few more times a round, and the results out of these irons are so stellar when well-struck. There’s a thump to the solid short irons that is satisfying, no matter what ball I’m using, and is mirrored very well despite the change in construction a little farther up the set. When I lean into a smooth tempo swing, I’m able to hit a really nice window, and flighting it down doesn’t seem to be an issue. We played Caledonia today, and the green sizes looked massive compared to what I’ve been accustomed to looking at on approach at my home course, and hit greens that would have been “almosts”, leaving me with a few long putts, but suggesting that my dispersion may have improved more than I thought earlier. I liked the ‘23’s, but this release in my opinion is a big improvement.

Having hit the 23 release as well as the 25s in a fitting I totally agree on the improvement of the 25s. Having a tough time not placing an order. There is only one release upcoming that might win out over the mixed set of 150s and 250s.

Nothing wrong with that if it’s a better performer. I played pretty good golf with the ‘23’s, but I can’t argue with this fitting. I might be a Modus guy for a while.

The last guys that I played with said the exact same thing.

The T250* (launch spec) are really settling in to my bag. Getting much more comfortable with ball flight, shot shape, and distances with different types of shots.

The most impressive thing about these irons is the stopping power. I can’t think of a single shot in the last 5+ rounds where I hit one to a green and it went drastically rolling over the green from a lack of spin, either from the fairway or rough. Early on, I had a tendency to come up short of pins as my normal yardages always included an estimate of more release when they would hit the green. Now, I have a lot more confidence in how quickly they will stop and factoring that into my club selection.

With the ‘23 T200/350 longer irons (prior iron set), I would hit a lot more fades to get them to stop. I’m finding the T250* are more consistent with distance on straight or slight draw shots. Hitting a cut frequently goes too high with too much spin and comes up well short so where before I would usually hit one extra club to fade one around a tree a specific distance, with these I need to take two extra. This has been more of a mental adjustment but is the only knock on these I have experienced. Since the T250* stop so quickly, I don’t find the need to hit many fades.

Titlesist has done a really good job with this series of irons. I have been messing around with a friends’ set of T150’s and will report more on those later as am seeing some interesting comparisons.

The T350s have been such a positive move for me. I had one of my best rounds in a long time today. I hit some good shots with the irons and the PW and GW were money. But, I didn’t hit every shot great or pure and that’s kind of the point that I’m going for here. The results on some less than stellar swings were surprisingly good. I hit a 7 iron pretty thin from about 180 that ended up on the front fringe and it was dead at the flag. Did the same thing with an 8 iron a couple of holes later, that one over water and easily made it over. Again, dead at the flag. Even on shots that weren’t great, I continually found myself in a position to get up and down for par. My misses are just so much better than they have been all summer and while I’m working on my game, most of the credit right now has to go to the T350s.

They really are great on misses. Even huge misses way out on the toe get better results that one deserves.

I have absolutely gotten away with some toe-side misses. Like end of the grooves misses that still somehow ended up okay. I'm still amazed at the forgiveness they built into these while still making them look fairly compact. It's impressive.
