Played last night with a buddy in the sim, and the new swing feel is clicking a little bit more comfortably after a few more weeks of drilling. I didn’t have difficulty elevating the ‘23 model, but the new T150 just feels effortless. I’m partial to long irons, since I work on my swing so much with a longer iron, but the 5-7i area of my bag just feels like it has a ton of firepower that I maybe didn’t have consistently with the previous gen. Launch and peak height are 2 of the things I have been paying attention to the most, and it’s been a consistently impressive stat line to see, along with the jump in spin I’ve come to enjoy. The sim place ball is a little softer than what I’m accustomed to, and maybe hides some of that “feel” that we all chase, but a decent strike with these checks a lot of boxes in that department. The more I spend time with these, the less inclined I feel to peel the plastic off anything new anytime soon.
