2025 Titleist T-Series Irons

The biggest difference I continue to see with the T350s is launch and peak height. Even when contact isn’t perfect, the ball gets up quickly and comes down soft. Mid-iron shots in particular are holding greens far more consistently than I’m used to.

What’s really stood out is the 6 iron. That club has always been a bit of a question mark for me, but with the T350 I’m swinging it with actual confidence. I don’t feel like I need to guide it or hit it perfectly to get a usable result. Between the tech and the fitting, this is the first time in a long while where I genuinely trust that part of the bag.
The forgiveness low on the face has saved me a lot since I’ve had the T350s. I was at the range yesterday and it was mats only and I just don’t seem to do as well off of mats. I hit several really thin shots that still got decent height. I’ve seen that on course as well. Got to love hitting one on the bottom of the face and it still getting up in the air and easily holding the green.

On the flip side, you can still flight the ball down when needed. Being able to hit a little cut stinger has also saved me a few times. I walk away impressed with these clubs after every round and range session.

I’ve been ball testing the last few weeks and have found a new area the T250* irons perform exceptionally well…bump and run shots with the mid to longer irons.

I do not use an iron longer than a 9 iron for bump and runs as I’ve never been able to get comfortable with a consistent and reliable contact with longer irons for those type of shots. Judging how much the ball would spin and run out was very difficult for me. During the ball testing, I decided to try 7 and 5 iron shots from the fairway and first cut…more to see how the balls performed than anything. What I found was that these irons do really well with a slightly descending strike to pitch the ball and get it to roll out like a putt. I was getting extraordinarily consistent results that will give me a new option to use on the course.

Oh my my, the T100 have a real shot of being in the bag for this summer. Just hit the demo 4 iron with the demo AMT White and man did impress me. I wouldn't put that shaft in the set as I'd like to have graphite, but the feel and flight I saw out of the few shots I had made it very tempting.

Here's my first swing with the club

Yeah that’ll work…beastly!

I've hit quite a few golf balls in the last couple weeks and each time I grab the T350's I'm reminded how much I enjoy them. Great set.

After a couple GW swings for reference in comparing some blade wedges I quickly remembered why I have that club in the bag. So easy and consistent, but still manages to feel and sound great.

Forgiveness in the 250s is great. Had a nice sim session yesterday. I was all over the face but the dispersion was better than I could have imagined. Mostly favoring the toe side of the club. Never lost anything out to the right. Did lose quite a bit of distance but my ball striking was not great. was getting a bit flippy at impact. Weather is taking a turn this week so simulators will be packed. Hoping to get another session in next week.

My blended set of T150&T250s came today. To say the T150’s were great would be an understatement. I absolutely love them. only got 4 swings with the 250’s so the jury is still out on them. If I had it to do over I’d probably have just got 150’s But we’ll see after I swing them more. Beautiful clubs.

I was a bit bummed during my fitting when I didn't produce high enough ball speed with the T150 6i and 5i for it to make sense for the fitter to recommend them. The 250s are great but I love the 150s a bit more for sure. hell, some days I wonder if I should buy a T350 5i but my swing has not been great so far this winter. I have hit some amazing (for me) shots with the 250 6i so it has earned some love. haha

I like this a lot - some common feedback I’ve heard on irons in this category is feeling “too hot” to be a greenside option. It’s a shot I like to play when the opportunity arises, and I want to be able to trust it up the set as well with our conditions and a longer swing.

Every now and then I get this little urge to move back to a blade wedge in the 50 degree slot. This is my reminder that it's completely unnecessary and the T350 GW (bent weak) not only fills that gap, but also performs substantially better for me. I have been testing wedges heavily the last couple weeks and it's not even a contest.

Obviously benefits there for full swings, but the place that it really impresses me most is how consistent and useful it is for partial swings. Contact is more consistent, feels great, and provides more than enough stopping power. Something about the design as a whole just works for me. I think the sole plays a big part too. This was my first swing after about an hour testing blade wedges. I consider this my 75-80 yard shot, depending on the situation.

Those 350’s have been dancing in my head quite a bit. Can you see anything between the set GW and blade GW that would make you want to blade? You said plenty of stopping power with the 350 and it appears forgiveness is there.

Might be an open and shut case.

I haven't seen anything that makes a case for the blade GW in my case. No major difference in spin, launch, or descent and the 350 is much more consistent with my varying strike pattern.

55/60 is a little different since I'm opening the face more often with those clubs.

@Bosco... I can't recommend taking the time to work with a Titleist fitter enough. They do a great job and you might be surprised how it turns out.

Calendar will be marked for the next time Titleist comes to the course! I’m over 12 years behind in irons and it’s time to spoil myself. I’m kind of working backwards now with the Vokey Experience but 100% confident they will have the answers.

I actually changed the 5-7 irons to 250. Left 8-gap as T-150.
this is the same setup i am seriously pondering. I have hit the T-150 7 iron with modus 105 and it feels great

Been doing a serious ponder on these 250's, I need to go down to the shop and hit a few of the newer irons

I had the luck of playing T200's on my recent trip to Aruba and I was striking them so nicely. The ball flight, the sound, the turf interaction. It's hard to go back to my Ping G425s after playing so well with those sticks. I am now driven to new clubs and the T250s are at the top of my list - really impressed with Titliest.

PS - Don't get me started on the wonders of the Vokey SM10 10 degree bounce S grind.... :)

The T200 are really good irons but expect you will find the T250’s even better. I noticed benefits from the design changes very quickly. Not to mention, they look so much better.

The Titleist fitting process is great. Hopefully, you have a location where you can take advantage of that process.

I popped over to the PGA SS looking for mini driver and had the chance to hit the T150's. I've been in the 718 AP2 forever and the 150's have such a similar feel to me, hits the ball and does what you put in to it.. That's always my goal for an iron. I have so much fear of hot faces. The slightly larger blade keeps my heel side miss a bit more centered. Was for sure nice, I'd game these in a second.

If I had it to do over I would have done the entire set in T150. So far I like them better than the 250s.

What aren't you liking about the T-250

great info, Mr Hawk!

I am still wowed by the toe and heel side forgiveness of the T150s. one of my recent posts shows how I hit the ball middle-ish in the grooves but basically a full ball towards the heel and the ball still did 95% of what I hoped it would. The result still confuses me in the best way possible. I think I actually said "thank you, Titleist engineers" after I noticed where the strike was. :)

The 150s are great!

I think the model of blended bags is great and has really come a long way on blending performance and forgiveness. I also think this has made people nervous when it comes to long irons in the more “players” iron category and wether or not forgiveness is there when looking at say a 150 vs 250 in a 5/6/7 iron. Walking into my fitting last year, I felt I was going to be fit into the 250s through the full bag yet I hit the T100/150s better than the 250s all the way through 5i. Like night and day difference better.
I highly suggest everybody who is looking at getting into the T series to find a premium fitter who has the entire bag of heads to try. Having the ability to test any iron in the bag instead of just a 7i really reassures the mind that you made the correct decision when ordering clubs. I think many would be surprised what they can or cannot game!

Want to 2nd the fitting comment, not just for head selection but shafts as well. Assuming you have access to a site with the Titleist fitting system, it is so easy to set-up and complete. This is one of the things Titleist has perfected in my mind and anyone can benefit from.

Even though I went through a fitting for Titleist irons 2 years ago (and was fit into T200/350 combo), I was surprised how much I learned on the most recent fitting especially related to the 3 D’s and how to optimize them for my game.
