2025: What are you replacing first?

Whatever’s on top in the Grandaddy box when it shows up 😍

GD notwithstanding, would probably looking at replacing driver or putter the most

Going to take something special to coax me off my current gear. Haven’t seen anything yet so hard to say.

I'm really happy with my bag right now. But I'd probably say wedges -- just because my current set-up isn't one I was fitted for (though I've been fitted for wedges before and it was definitely an educated guess). I'm seeing such huge benefits from my 2024 Titleist Experience wood fitting that I think wedges are the next area I'd like to take a look at. Everything else in my bag, I was fitted for and it's pretty new.

I don't know if anybody does this, but I'd love to look into getting fitted for grips, too. I like my Lamkin UTx standards, but it'd be really cool to go through a fitting and see how larger, smaller, tapered, non-tapered, etc., grips change things -- or if they change anything at all.

I would say wedges mostly because they are getting worn. I am happy with my woods right now. I could see getting new irons. The putter isn’t going anywhere.

Probably Driver. Love Paradym but I chipped the sole on an alignment stick like a dummy, so figure it is time.

Don’t think I’ll need to replace anything in 2025, except I always re-grip my swinging clubs. I replaced wedges earlier this year. I am really happy with every club in my bag.

Now my wife may be a different matter.

We just got her a 5W Callaway Paradym Smoke, which she now hits as far as her driver.

So, a new driver may be in her near-term future.

Irons, then wedges for gapping. I don't know how much else would change

Release season is waiting in the wings, what’s first on your replacement list for 2025?

Driver?
Fairway?
Hybrid?
Irons?
Wedges?
Putter?
Grips?

What’s changing first?
Irons are high on the list. Hybrid on the list but it’s an addition not replacement.

Is it a change if you just get the same irons in a different color? Asking for a Friend because those Black King Tour's.
This is THP. Of course, it is.

Nothing for me. I can’t believe that I said that, but I am pretty committed.

Probably irons, but, possibly nothing. Or, maybe just shafts in the current irons.
Sir, I have seen your posts in the Apex thread. I do not believe possibly nothing is in the cards.

HA! I did start with probably! That said, it's all in the when (mostly), and how the scores go the next couple months.

Irons. They'll be replaced sometime in 2025 I hope. And some of my fairways. Maybe replace them with hybrids. Or newer models.

Wedges, fresh grooves for 2025 are arriving this week.

Will be changing the spikes on my shoes, and will possibly use a different ball...

My 4i. I’m planning to try something hybridesque. But that may happen in 2024.

Will I make it to 2025?

The only thing I’m thinking about adding to the options is a driving iron. Have it rotate with the mini-driver depending on the course and conditions. I need a low straight bullet tee shot.

I’m not waiting for 2025 but I’ve pulled my ping irons out of the closet and am re-shafting them with mmt graphite. Pulled the steel out yesterday and these should be ready for the weekend.

New 58* or 60* wedge. Thinking about another full-toe option. Hoping Callaway releases one.

For maybe the first time ever…I really don’t know. Only thing I can really see changing is my 3W but I don’t really have anything in need of change

Irons.

Likely moving to Apex Ai200 from Apex 21. Spoke to my fitter this evening, and we might try T200s, P790s and Mizuno 245s just to be sure but they'll have to go some to beat out the Ai200s.

Depending on how the rest of my year goes I might also replace my oldest wedge - Jaws 52 degree for an Opus.

Ai200's are SO good.

I've also been won over by Opus.
