This is a thread about the change over of rosters for the 2026 LIV golf schedule. If you don't like LIV or just want to say "Who?" there are other threads to troll.

Fireballs - Sergio Garcia (c), Ancer, Ballester, Puig

Hyflyers - Phil Mickelson (c), Ogletree, Steele, Tringale

Iron Heads - Kevin Na (c), Jang, Kozuma, Lee

AK still a wildcard?

If Luis Masaveu signs he will rejoin Fireballs and Ancer would move to Torque. If Torque gets Ancer they are the most stacked team in LIV.

I don't think any of the wild cards are still under contract. They need to fill the roster then invite back wild cards and reserves

Abe Ancer to Torque?

That would be exciting. Fireballs are rumored to be signing Masaveu who was on the team last year and was replaced by Ballester. Fireballs with Masaveu, Ballester, and Puig would be a super young team but a lot of talent. Ancer makes more sense on Torque. If Ancer goes to Torque they will have the players that finished 2, 4, 8, and 12 in individual standings last year. #stacked

I kinda like the idea of Sergio mentoring all these up and coming Spaniards.

Ancer has not been the same the past year. Same with Cam Smith. Cam Smith was very smart to sign the check when he did.

Ancer is a huge improvement over Pereria. Torque should of won team titles last season

Heck of a team for Legion XIII.

Winning Jon Rahm GIF by LIV Golf

Chase Koepka, Scott Vincent, Laurie Canter, Victor Perez, and Yosuke Asaji are joining LIV for 2026 season. I can see what team a few of them are going, but a couple of them not too sure about.

Vincent and Asaji qualified from International series.
Victor Perez was signed to Cleeks

I had not seen anything about Chase Koepka rejoining. I know he had a shoulder injury but thought he was trying the Korn Ferry Tour.
Canter is interesting because he just got his tour card back. I also have not seen anything about his return. A return to Majesticks since Stenson was relegated?

Also Luis Masaveu is rumored to be signing with Fireballs which pushes Ancer to Torque.
2 WC spots from promotions event as well.

Open spots
Cleeks - Signed Perez
Hyflyers - Leaves Vincent here.
Majesticks - Canter (if true makes sense here)
Iron Heads - Asaji makes sense here
Torque - Probably Ancer

Not sure where I see Chase Koepka filling in as a team has to drop someone in open zone to bring him in. Not sure Koepka is an upgrade anywhere.

Not the names you want if you want you league to be “competitive”.

There seems to be more players going to LIV in 2026 than there are open spots on teams. My mistake, Chase didn't get into LIV for 2026. He got into the qualifier for LIV. The article I read was a little misleading in the wording.

Not top players, but who knows? Lots of players on the PGA would be categorized the same way.

Looks like Canter is now a Majestick

Brooks holding out for more $$?

Be a big blow to LIV, but then again, LDSers have said he doesnt matter, so I cant figure out which one it is.
I think it would be a blow. How much? Hard to say, Brooks was kinda non existent last year. On LIV and in the majors. I think the optics would be way worse than the actual play impact. If that makes sense.

I guess?
Literally in this very thread, he has been labeled, washed up, a has been, no good, doesn't matter, etc.
Him leaving one tour and going back to the PGA Tour should make the PGA Tour weaker based on that.

But that was mostly just LDSer talk.
Everybody knows that getting someone of his caliber to play weekly in events being a multiple time major winner, its a win.

They needed him initially but now if he left I think they’d be ok. Would probably turn into Kokrak’s team is my guess

based on his most recent body of work saying he is washed is not totally out of line. He has not been good. But, we all know that was once washed can be new or reborn.

Regardless of play, he is a name. He has fans. If he shows up on a Sunday leaderboard in a Major he pulls eyes.

You forget I said a month ago or so that Rory was washed as well. I still believe that. Or at least the the washing has begun.
