2026 LIV Golf Roster Rumor Thread

I don't think he's washed I just don't think he's that focused right now. I get the feeling he was not a big fan of being a team owner or captain or whatever they are. I can't see him digging into making travel plans and going over payrolls and stuff like that. Once the fancy planes got dropped and teams had to pay their own way the rumors he didn't like LIV got started so my assumption is, if he is leaving this is why.

That said I wouldn't be surprised if he just wants more money. I'm guessing there isn't much contractual money to be had and what is available, Koepka is at least 2nd in line for after Bryson.

Also interesting they still haven't finalized their 2026 schedule. 3 events left to put out there.
 
when will we see some of these captains be removed from their post due to play?
Watson was saved after a poor 24.
Poulter was last man in field that was not relegated.

Could we ever see non playing coaches/captains. Some of these guys are champions tour age.

Yeah, we will see. I am honestly not sure what his issues are.
 
Si Woo should be moving over soon. Along with another Korean. Im guessing Benny An but at this point Sungjae wouldn't surprise me either

may be true. May not. These guys were all saying Finau and a number of others where "done deals".. Then they wern't.. Going to LIV doesnt make a lot of sense to for Si Woo. He plays a lot and I think LIV said the signing bonus days are gone.

You may be right as that happened a lot over the past few years, but my source is good friends with Lee Hodges who will move up to the top 100 in the FedEx cup fall points and will now get his tour card. This one seems to have more merit than other rumors in the past. This is also a rumor thread so I reserve the right to be dead wrong :LOL:

Very well could happen. I just think the "deal Done" stuff. Especially from Nuclr golf is funny. I think they have been wrong more than they have been right.

Forgot about Hideki! Also, Fowler was just letting the ink dry, Cantlay was dropped by Titleist because he was going to LIV and no one liked him. Hovland was going. Oh and Xander, Wyndham and Tom Kim. lol...

Jday wanted to go. But the Shark said no because he didnt like him. lol..

I cant speak to "sources" and a number of those.
I can say Titleist didnt "drop" Cantlay, his contract was up and it had nothing to do with LIV.
I can say Hideki and Finau were done deals. Completely.
Fowler was close, some friends and wife convinced otherwise.

The others, nope.

No its not sarcasm. I can say for fact that both of those deals were agreed to and were happening.
Signed contracts? No.
I can also say for fact that most of social media is ******** or theft.
But I reported on both, and I think my track record in this industry is pretty darn rock solid with confirmations.

One case it was a wife and the other case it was some friends.

Him leaving one tour and going back to the PGA Tour should make the PGA Tour weaker based on that.

But that was mostly just LDSer talk.
Everybody knows that getting someone of his caliber to play weekly in events being a multiple time major winner, its a win.
