CONTEST 2026 Live Update Thread – Titleist Golf Ball Experience

If you scroll down on the main ball page there are pictures specifically for Prov1 AIM Enhanced and ProV1 AIM Performance. You can slide them right or left to check the other models like AVX and Tour Soft as well.

I was on my phone, will try tomorrow or Friday on my laptop. I could find the logos and stuff, but couldn't find a tab or drop down where you could choose the alignment options. If I still can't find it I'll be in touch.

It was great hanging out with you. I feel like we hadn't had a TON of back and forth on the forums over the years, but meeting you in person and getting to spend a few rounds together, was really fun. I'm calling you if i'm ever in Columbus!
Absolutely, would be awesome to have you out to my club. Had a blast playing with you this week!

You did. I bet more optimistically. :)

It's funny, we were all talking at dinner the night before saying the under 2.5 on #4 was easy money to bet the under. It's a really tough green to hit especially hitting a longer club in.

2 guys hit it day one, which is pretty much exactly how we had pegged it more or less. We figured 1, or 2 at most.

Yeah. It was really not an easy shot at all. I would not have hit it.

Funny thing is, in the bonus golf i hit the green and the last round I hit the green. Both with drivers haha. I swear I didn't miss it on purpose day 1 for the bet.

I couldn't find a single ceramic mug in the pro shop on this trip. They had corksickle ones, but nothing ceramic. It was moderately disappointing.
That’s a bummer - I couldn’t find one at Briggs this year (though I think @MikeG got one, so I must’ve just missed them), but that’s where I was able to get the Dormie flag mug instead.

In the second round Monday.....out of 11, i think what, 3 of us hit it?

But that was 11 of us including Titleist guys.

Under 2.5 i still think was such a clear under

But 1.5 wouldn't be fair either.

It had to be 2.5----but it was an easy "under"

Exactly. As soon as I saw it, I went under, especially with it being on the first day.

This was my last minute purchase on the last day.

For whatever reason, I was especially touched by this Experience and group of people. @Lord Tox and I looked at each other at one point on Monday afternoon and commented about how much fun we were having and how moments like that make it all worth it.

A few observations on the lucky six, in order of who I met first:

@Junkyard - classic THP'r that really speaks to why we do what we do. Loves the community, the gear, and the experience.

@Nashtyone - did you ever stop smiling? I don't think you did until you had to leave. Very fun guy to play golf with - Monday afternoon was a treat.

@MtlJeff - A man of fine tastes and a finer golf game 😂 You are funny as hell, Jeff. The ball flight on your tee shots is wild. Terrible putter. We lost, but it was a damn good time.

@OhioGolfer - You are one of those people I have to listen closely to, because funny crap is always coming out of your mouth. Slinging blades like a boss.

@Greg Kulbick - Still not sure how we hand't met before. You have impeccable taste in headwear, Greg. Also, I like that we hit our tee shots about the same distance. Wait, are we related?

@AnthonyC - another hilarious person that leans heavily into self deprecation like I do. The only difference is that you're actually pretty good at golf. Your irons sound different than mine. Must be the copper finish. Thanks for the Cigars and good vibes.

I have so many things to say, so I want to take my time but I also don't want the thread to drop down the list too far before I do so consider this an initial summary:

My #1 goal for this experience was to be better than I was at my first. While it is impossible to stay current with a thread while you are participating in an event, I was very satisfied with how I performed while on property. Unfortunately I could not get photos to load while out on the course so I decided to focus on golf and make up for it later.

It had been a couple of years since my inaugural experience at Ballyhack, and to say @JB and company have taken these experiences to a completely different level would be like saying the sky is blue. You simply cannot begin to understand the level of treatment we get unless you are physically there, and even then you can't be certain that you aren't dreaming.

Having met @Lord Tox previously I was already aware of how much of a gentleman he is, and his brother from another mother @Hawk is no different. These guys are both as down to earth as they come, and are very good at what they do for the forum. And they genuinely want to make sure you are getting the most out of your experience.

If you've been on the forum for any length of time you already know that THP affords us access to industry professionals unlike any other, and this experience was no different. Charlie Fisher, Patrick Fish and Nick Martin from Titleist were like open books, and the library never closed. I never heard a single question posed where one of them had to say "I can't answer that". While I didn't get the pleasure of seeing Fish's game firsthand, I can confirm that NicktheStick can not only play, but if you walked up to our group and didn't know better you wouldn't know he wasn't just another THPer. And Charlie was a super-cool hang as well - his enthusiasm for helping golfers play better golf was infectious. I think the three of them were as impressed with how the forum consumes experiences as we were with how accommodating they were.

@OhioGolfer I was super stoked for you when we were first announced and I am so happy that you were finally able to get the full Dormie experience. And selfishly it was nice to have another player on property whose game was very similar to mine.

@Greg Kulbick we're no strangers to each other, yet every time we get together I discover something about you that I didn't know before. I was very happy to be able to share a Dormie experience with you. I know your game wasn't where you wanted it to be, but I believe you still got a ton of enjoyment out of our time there.

@Nashtyone when I picked you up at the airport I felt like we had known each other for years. Seeing your game firsthand there are several elements that I really wish I could incorporate into my game. It was a pleasure sharing the last few days with you.

@AnthonyC you're going to make me sound like a broken record, but you are so down to earth and polite I'm surprised you aren't Canadian :ROFLMAO: I know I said it over and over, but you don't give yourself enough credit - I have zero doubt that you would shoot low 80s if you were at a course you are familiar with and weren't trying to keep an entire forum updated. I hope to get back to the area and have the pleasure of golfing with you again.

@MtlJeff I honestly wasn't sure what to expect but you delivered. Again I didn't get to witness your game firsthand, but clearly you can play. And you clearly have a level of knowledge about the game that I am envious of. It was nice to have a fellow Canuck and southpaw in the experience - we're certainly in the minority and need to stick together. Best of luck in the remaining competitions back home!

It was truly and honour and a pleasure to have been able to share this awesome experience with each and every one of you.

I'm not sure why I didn't hammer the under; I bet hesitantly.

I'll get one eventually - too many good people on here for me not to

While I would have said this without having been chosen for this experience, I truly believe that every golfer owes it to themselves to try a Titleist golf ball. The simple fact that it is the most played ball on professional tours should tell you all you need to know, but if that isn't enough validation for you hopefully something you saw during this experience helps to push you over the edge.

It is the only piece of equipment that you use for every single shot. Every single person at Titleist from the plant floor to the front office is solely dedicated to giving us the best possible product they can and at a price point that really makes you feel like you're stealing from them.

Even if you ultimately decide to go back to your current ball model, do yourself a favour and grab a couple sleeves and give them a test drive. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest that you find at least one feature that is going to help your game.

^^^^ i will be doing some in-depth reviews and comparos late this season and then going into the offseason on Trackman

I was very happy with the ProV1x this past week. Excited to play it next season

I’m curious what your spin looks like compared to Chrome Tour X.

I’m curious what your spin looks like compared to Chrome Tour X.

i will 100% be on a trackman and can measure peak height and spin, will do some detailed stuff this winter

In my haste to get on the road and get home yesterday I didn't take the time to post my second and final purchase from the pro shop. Two additional polos and since I'm a sucker for a good bag tag (especially when Evolve is making it) I had to grab the only one they had left. While it doesn't surpass Ballyhack, the Hidden Creek logo has definitely climbed up my list. And of course the Dormie flag just looks so elegant on a polo.

@AnthonyC I forgot to mention in my first recap that you have the best looking set of irons I have ever set eyes on
