I was trying to quote you from a few days ago in this thread, but it's not working.
Feeling awesome and grateful! Gonna be so awesome seeing other THPs. Finally meeting @DannyLe is gonna be so awesome after interactions here. I look forward to waking early as hell no doubt watching the sunrise over Arborlinks. I love a links style course and never been to Nebraska lol. My AI Smoke Max has been so good. Seeing the excitement out regarding the new driver and the GD team raving about it I’m so pumped to refresh that spot. Having Danny Le be the one dialing you in is just incredible. Looking forward to having a blast with my partner @Lohnman .I was trying to quote you from a few days ago in this thread, but it's not working.
How do you feel now that you've been picked? You seemed pretty exited before the signups, must be up to 11 now!
Sounds about right! Happy for you to get this chance!Feeling awesome and grateful! Gonna be so awesome seeing other THPs. Finally meeting @DannyLe is gonna be so awesome after interactions here. I'm back and forth on that too - it's like 15 hours for me, which I don't really mind...and it gives me the chance to play other places on the way there and back...but the boss wants me to fly.The hard part now is figuring out how to get there. To drive 11 hours or to fly (deal with airports and then drive an hour)

It's ~13 hours for me and I'm debating it as well for the WWGC. I know @hedley_lamarr isn't far from an airport so that plays into it.I'm back and forth on that too - it's like 15 hours for me, which I don't really mind...and it gives me the chance to play other places on the way there and back...but the boss wants me to fly.
That's exactly it for me. I can get in the car and just drive...leave when I want to, split it up and play golf someplace new along the way...and just sort of relax.Gah! That's right in that grey area for time. If you are pretty close the airport and/or can find tickets for pretty cheap I think it makes sense to fly. But if you need to drive a few hours to the airport and or tickets are more expensive it starts to really make the case for just driving.

Or fly. Bristol to Charlotte...3 hr layover in Charlotte...Charlotte to Omaha, where I either need to rent a car and drive an hour to ArborLinks, or get an Uber that will cost about $80 each way.
Figuring out the logistics are half the fun though...lol
Yes sir!! We gonna have a great time!!!
I can be at my airport in 15 minutes but the layovers are weird. CRW really only flies to Char/ATL/and Chi OIt's ~13 hours for me and I'm debating it as well for the WWGC. I know @hedley_lamarr isn't far from an airport so that plays into it.
The big thing is I'm thinking its about an hour from the airport in Nebraska. With that being accounted for I wouldn't be able to fly back till the day after the event. Still have time to figure it out. If I see something interesting that saves some time and maybe some cash I'll pass it alongGah! That's right in that grey area for time. I looked at KC. I will dive into it a little more this week and see what is availableFlying from Baltimore to KC on the 19th. Rented an SUV to drive the 2 hrs the next morning. All partiplants are welcome to ride with me if flying into KC
That is a long trip and this is coming from somebody who puts a lot of miles behind the wheel. That's exactly it for me. I can get in the car and just drive...leave when I want to, split it up and play golf someplace new along the way...and just sort of relax.

That's another option I've been mulling over. Looking at Knoxville too. That is a long trip and this is coming from somebody who puts a lot of miles behind the wheel.
Based on your description, you would be better off, just driving to Charlotte and hopping on a plane from there and driving home from there
