It’s a 14 way bag!!!!!

No….

It’s a set of iron covers!!!!

No….

It’s a 9 wood!!! Any daring THP folk risk adding one of these to the bag? If so, how did/does it go? What did it replace? Is it hidden in your bag under a towel?

Can't do it. I'm not against it, just hit hybrids better than woods.

I don't currently, but I think it might be a viable option in my bag.
If HW is my better wood option at the top of the bag, I might need something between the HW and 5i..... could it possibly be a 9W???

I see the humour in your tone, but what on earth would be a reason to do it covertly? It’s a golf club for f sake.

I've tried, I hit them too damn high.

I'd love to play one, because I think its fun, but I flirt with putting the ball into orbit.

I hit one a guy like me in some ways had not long ago and it was a blast. I play a 7 already and have never been a great hybrid player. I'm not opposed. If it hits the gap and the right flight what's not to like?

The flight thing is the hard part for me.

Let me start with the 7 wood first.

It’s so good. Perfect 4 iron/4h replacement if you need something that gets up in air. Easily leader in bag for club that makes me happiest to hit.

I have a 9W, that as soon as I re-shaft it, will go in my bag. I also have a matching 11W that's getting re-shafted. Its going in the bag also. I just haven't got around to doing the work. Once both are in my bag, the longest iron I will have in the bag will be a 7i.

In my golf reality the only thing that matters is shooting the lowest scores I can. The tools I use to shoot those decent scores doesn't matter.

Sure why not! If it performs then it really doesn't matter.

I did it in my grandaddy bag back in 2015. Easy to hit, ball went so high and landed unbelievably soft.

Two of my regular golf buddies both recently bought 9 woods and they absolutely love them. I have (and love) the Ai Smoke 7W, but haven't gone 9W because it would take the slot of my 5H, and I'm pretty fond of the 5H.

There's a good chance I look into getting one this year. Hybrids haven't been my friend lately.

Thought about it before lessons as my peak height was so low in addition to spin.

Yes 9 wood and 11 wood Proudly presented in my bag. I love it when my playing partner say -" How'd you do that !?" I say " 9 Wood" they say "Damn!" :ROFLMAO: :golf:

Nah.. no need. Get.

I've hit a friend of mine's a couple of times out of the rough, both times with good results. I have no plans to get one of my own, but I could be convinced.

I played one at the end of last season. I’ll
likely have one in the bag this year. It will replace a 5H.

Ping G430 9 wood. Longer approach shots and longer par 3s this club is money. I can hit a 4hybrid a little further but the height of the 9 wood makes it hold greens much better. What’s not to like?!? Hide clubs? From who? Scorecard is king. Period.

I just added a Cobra Adapt max 9w to the bag. It is awesome and much better for those 190-210 shots in. My 5 iron didn't get as high and rolled out way more. It is very easy to hit and having the futurefit 33 makes it a breeze to dial in.

Thinking my Dad would love one of these.

Tempted to try one myself.
