A question for those of you out there using carry bags - not stand bags, but genuine carry bags. Think Mackenzie/Koger/Jones/Ping Moonlite et al

Do you use these bags whilst raining? I see a few of them out now that advertise as waterproof bags - but with no cover for your clubs or rain hood?? Given that the way these bags get carried would lend itself to water going straight the heads to the grips it feels kind of pointless to have these style bags be advertised as waterproof? I get the argument for early morning dew sweeping - no worries there, great that they are waterproof for that. But for actual rain?

I just don’t get it - please tell me if you use these in the wet how do you do it?

I’d imagine they are marketing the waterproof material on being able to lay on wet / dew soaked ground (vs go through the actual rain). To your point, without a hood, the water could flow down to the grip, defeating the purpose of it.

I only use my carry bag when its not wet / raining btw. 🤷

I have one but I use it exclusively for either par 3 courses where I don't need woods or hybrids or for going to the range/sim with limited clubs. Mine is not waterproof I don't think so the dew in the morning is a concern. Our range also has mats on top of gravel so the gravel can get muddy. And the bag gets dirty.

The two I have seen were specifically marketing as for play in the elements rather then dew sweeping - hence the question 🤷‍♂️
