A thread for SoCal golfers.

Since finding Golf Sidekick on YouTube and adapting their advice my golf game has been going through a Renaissance.

I Recently traveled to North Carolina. Where I had the opportunity to play Stonebridge, in Monroe, and Highland Creek, in Charlotte. These were different golf courses that I had never played before.

84, 82, 79, 77, 76, 75, and 74.

From the Blues, or Members Adult Male Tee's.

Mine you, I never broke 90's on a regular basis. And I had only posted a score below the 80's on one prior occasion on a 18 hole Par 72 course, from the White Tee's.

As you can tell there was a period of adjustment. The irons were traveling one full club length further with the change in elevation and air density versus my home course conditions.

And the best part was the First Hole in One on 7/19/2019.

Just played Oak Quarry about a month ago. It was in fantastic shape and my buddy and I had such a great time. I shot my second best score ever (79). If you do plan on going, let me know and depending on my schedule I'd tag along.
