Are these still worth playing? Got a full set dr,3,5,7 wood for cheap. Definitely unique.

Adams was well known for making easy to hit clubs. I still gave an Adams 3h and 4h in my bag.

Yes! I’ve played Adams clubs for years (still play the a7os irons)... and I think these can be a great find for you. Others will talk about technological advances since those came out (and there have been)... but, for an average “hacker” these should do nicely. Enjoy ‘em and hit ‘em good!

First decent driver was a speed line. Really enjoyed it

This post reminds me of this old classics that had a bit of a cult follwing.

Funny how the wood had a similar tail feature to the new stealth drivers.

I used to love my Adams Tight Lie. If they offered one with an extra stiff shaft, it would still be in my bag!

They came in the mail. Only hit 5 balls at the range with the 5 wood. Chunked the first and it still went straight, then I hit a couple draws and fades with intent. Need to regrip, but they feel solid. A lot less tinny than the rbz and other taylormade long clubs in my bag. Darn it these are odd looking clubs. Where else can you find a green driver though? I'll post more pics once I clean them up.

Adams made good golf clubs, shame they are gone.

I have one of those still. Played it a couple times this year. Still just as long as everything else. Super unforgiving though. I can't believe I played one when they came out lol.

If you still have it, you could have it re-shafted!

Look at Monark golf, they have the super collider. They make it for you, or you can buy components and put it together. Exact replica of Adams Tight Lies.

I would but I ended up giving it to my Dad and he absolutely loves the thing. Favorite club in his bag!

It's so nice to have a matching set now that I found some Tom watson wedges. For a very reasonable budget, this is a quality set. It's refreshing to not have a hodge podge of mismatched clubs.

Great pictures! Don’t know how much you paid (and it’s none of my business).... but, you have a VERY playable set of clubs, there!
