Alphard Golf club booster v2

I'm probably pushing about 150 rounds with my Alphard V2, and it's still performing flawlessly.
Recently made the switch from the Quad XL with swivel kit to a Tri-Swivel II cart, and it made it even better. Much smoother, and doesn't hardly use the wheelie bars at all.

Only thing I'm going to replace over the winter is the clips for the wheelie bars, they are very loose and allow the wheelie bars to fall out.

I'm a big fan of Alphard Golf...I've had their V1, V2 and now the CyberCart. I probably put about 350 rounds on the V2 when I switched to the CyberCart. V2 is great...but the CyberCart is even better.

Anyone know if the current gen Costco caddytek cart is a one for one fit as a replacement to there old Costco caddytek cart from about 2020? Mine is getting sort of rickety and $150 maybe less at Black Friday? Is much cheaper than getting a cyber cart (though that’s what I’d prefer).

I saw a mention in the Alphard Facebook group that it wouldn't be the same brackets. But iirc, Alphard has a fitting one. I'll see if I can find the convo.

Thank you sir, that would be great, though, if I need to purchase new brackets (while still cheaper) I might just pull the string on the Cyber. It would be soooo much easier.

First round of the fall with the Alphard wheels coming up on Sunday!

Actually, I was wrong. Some said not, but others have confirmed it to be working. Here's a link to the conversation.

So, I read the thread on Facebook that you linked @Inioch it seemed inconclusive (to me) contacted Alphard and they said it was a no go. In that time, my old cart broke (wow right?), I found a replacement (same model) on Amazon and kudos to UPS who delivered in under 24 hours. Cart is built and ready for action tomorrow - cost $165 with tax, and I am good for another 2+ years or until the V2 conks out (old cart was 5 years ish old), with a year of just sitting then 2+ years of use at roughly 50 rounds a year.

3+year old V2 seems to be perfectly good, still getting more than 27 holes from 1 charge - closer to 31-32. And the cart itself other than an occasional oversteer when it's almost out of range (maybe 25 yards away, and stopped), or needing to send the command more than once on occasion - and in the same general areas on the course making me wonder about interference, it's going strong.

Good that you contacted them then! This shows us how reliable Facebook groups are 😂

Well, I bought the V2 but, after reading here and other forums decided to get the Cyber Cart, so…

I have a brand new V2 for sale. Anyone interested?

I’d suggest listing it in the BST section.

Switching to the Tri-Swivel II with my V2 for next season. I wanted that 360-wheel for added manoeuvrability and lessened stress on the front wheel.

I would have thought that there'd be more V2's for sale after the CC came out, especially on the FB group page...there's nothing.

Swivel makes a big difference (i think), I’ve always had mine with swivel feature engaged.

But i assume stationary might be better on side hills or something like that.

Yeah, I'd assume so, but the gyro should work just fine for side hills to conbat that. It'll be interesting to see how it compares.

It’s so so without the locking front. Not bad just not great. Not something I lose sleep over.

Going from fixed front wheels to swivel front wheels was like going from pushing a cart to having electric wheels. So much better.

I'm still in the "non-swivel is just fine" camp. I get that swivel is a lot better for maneuverability, but haven't really seen that I actually need that.

I noticed improved battery life as well.

This is on my click great with an Alphard swivel kit.

I'm expecting that too. There's a lot of resistance when turning with the fixed wheel. I've never managed 36 holes with the Nitron on my home course. Max was 30.

I changed from a Quad XL with front swivel kit to the Tri-Swivel II about a month ago and I'm very happy with it.
I removed the front swivel lock completely, it's not needed with the Alphard. The gyro keeps it tracking very straight on hills and all, so no worries there.
Battery life didn't really improve for me, but I didn't expect it to since both had swivel front wheels.

I’m in. Looking forward to giving this a spin.
